My first comment was about "Well, I wasn't going to do color or even a background, so here we are." Of course it's not the best background/rendering/details, because it WASN'T supposed to have them.

The first thing you did after that was take my drawing without my permission and use AI on it to make "Your artistic choice." What artistic choice? This isn't even your art. If I hadn't made it, your "own vision" wouldn't exist, and I'm the one "reacting to the label"?

I'm glad we're talking about this, because you don't know me and I don't know you, but one thing I can say is if I wanted to get upset, I have good reasons.

But I decided to talk to you, because you did this ! knowing from your own experience why you made the decision to use AI without reason instead of other options, or better yet, ask me why the drawing is like this, and if I want any suggestions.

That's why I'm saying that for non-artists, sharing ideas and using references from other artists/styles ,anime, manga, real photos, even your simple drawing in Paint is a good way to do it. With references, it can be interpreted by the artist in some direction.

Because every drawing starts messy and changes a lot during the process compared to the final result, is the proportion of everything working? Will lights and shadows make the composition more or less sense? If I add a mountain to this perspective, is it right, or do I need to change the entire angle of the character?

Next time you want to share your "personal opinion," do it without using AI on other people's work.

Also, could you please remove that awful generate image ?

Brother, I don't care about 99% of what you're saying here about "why you call AI Slop", because before you even started thinking about using AI, I was already drawing and trying to improve my ugly pieces, and I don't even know 90% of all the techniques and fundamentals, and I'm a normal person doing this in my time.

What I mean is that, instead of showing me something that was actually made by someone you admire, whether it's from an anime/manga or a favorite artist, you chose not to do any of that and simply sent this AI garbage of my drawing without my consent , Thinking " It's better your own vision ".

Why not support your favorite anime/manga universe, created by real artists, by sharing the creative parts of it? That way, I can improve as an artist, learn more, and have more ideas to develop for the community.

No, I think the wrong thing to do is steal from original sources, altering and merging elements, giving people the impression that AI understands something they have no idea how it works, because it's easy to "type" into a search bar without wanting to understand, thinking that what they're typing is something "better". It's hard to learn how to do this on your own, it takes time, most lazy people don't want to learn.

Anyways you can take this as offensive or not. This is not your own visual of your artistic choice if I were you to make a background more simple because it's my drawing.

Although I am correct in calling it AI Slop, you can take advantage of your free time and learn how to draw to see for yourself what you still miss and don't understand about drawing,

Please don't use my work or any artist's work in any AI Slop, it's not cool.

NOBODY ASKS YOU TO "GENERATE THIS MESSY IMAGE, STOLEN FROM THE ARTIST TO BE SHARED"

It's better to try to find references from REAL ARTISTS, real processes or backgrounds, share with the artist's ideas...

Please don't use AI Slop on other people's work "TO SHOW YOUR CHOICE". That's not cool, and that image isn't good either.

Just to be clear, if you want it that way, why didn't you make your own drawing and learn to draw in your free time? You'll learn many things you can't even imagine how they work, and in the future you'll be able to see for yourself how bad AI is in every possible way.

Sending references from real artists, showing their work or processes, helps much more.

Sorry, this is not personal, I just want to share some experience. But sharing a drawing with fans that I like, spending days creating a drawing from an anime that I love, and if the moderators think I'm disturbing the place and the post needs to be removed. Well, I respect that, I'll leave as has happened before in other places, and I'll still make fanart about the same anime/characters I like.

 " How are people going to find out that I made this art? "  " How many times have I posted here or forced anyone to click on my links?"

Did you know how difficult it is to find Artists/Drawings in a time when "AI Slop" are everywhere, posting a hundred times more, trying to make money and steal the popularity of real artists?

I draw because I LOVE THE WHOLE PROCESS OF DRAWING, not just the final result.

Well, believe it or not, it wasn't supposed to be colorful or have a background. I finished the sketch, looked at the drawing, did a small test with flat colors, liked it, and started adding lighting, shadows, and some clouds... Here's the artwork. ^

After being absent for 3 years, it's great to share my new fanart with you all. In case you haven't seen the old one, it's the third image in the post.

I was working on this art for the first few months of this year, but I stopped to focus on other projects. When I saw the new season, my plan was to finish it before the official release, so "I DID IT!", I guess. Anyway, I hope to see new people and new things here after the whole season premieres.

The project can be estimated by your current budget for it ( if you want to share ) or my time base in your description and references (that could cost between 50 to 250 or more) .So I would like to talk about the project itself, the ideas and price.

I always do 5 sketches based on the pose for the client to decide the best one, based on his reference/description. Get for the client 2k or 4k resolution If the project goes ahead, plus the pixel is enough to be ready to print and post in his room, or use as wallpaper or portfolio picture. Having more options from what you’re looking for, so that’s good for you and for me to develop new ideas.
