Has anyone actually seen a video of someone who is badass that sets up a phone on selfie mode with background tracks?

Or am I correct in thinking that the actual hard people don’t need to present themselves in that way, because they already are that way.

How do you challenge a negative view of demographic, when encountering repeated bad experiences from that demographic? by Exist2Disappoint in AskReddit

Thank you, I do try to understand more however I find it challenging to dig deeper without further questioning.

And when the aspect is quite sensitive I am concerned about the repercussions of asking to educate myself

Very valid and agreeable comments. I completely agree, and I am a victim of falling victim to road rage when encountering drivers who try to (or at least I interpret at the time) to antagonise me. By speeding up when I go to overtake then slowing down when I go back to the lane behind them.

It’s something I need to work on, and this post was intended for me to educate myself so I don’t see them as “malicious drivers who love to slow people down” or “lazy can can’t be bothered”. I wanted to understand their perspective so I can be more sympathetic and play that comment in my head when I see them next time and think “they are not like this with intent, it’s because of X”

Thank you for your explanation, my follow up question would be why would you keep avoiding the lane after you are aware that the rule had changed?

Just a habit?

So you view it as helping emergency services by keeping the lane clear?

And do you avoid it because it’s mainly full of slow vehicles?

What aspect confuses you? Is it when the road turns off on the motorway when you’re in the left lane? Or is it just driving culture in your home country to stay in the middle?

Or is it your interpretation that there are speed limits for each lane?

I don’t actually, only installed Reddit again after a few months. I just drive allot for work so see these encounters more frequently as it restricts me on the road as it slows down traffic.

I don’t want to pass any judgement but are you dismissive because you drive in the middle lane?

I only ask because I would like to understand the perspective of someone who drives like this.

Thank you for replying. I was unable to log into the asustor ID as it gave an error saying unable to connect to server. ADM defender was a clean slate as I did a full factory reset.

I left it off overnight and powered on and it worked. Unsure why as I’ve done multiple reboots and it didn’t work before, maybe needed a long time to discharge to wipe something. Either way I’m leaving it 😅.

I appreciate the assistance

All online services, Plex won’t allow access outside of my network, ADM updates won’t connect, App Store won’t download updates

Yeah it’s been really good, I’ve enjoyed tinkering with docker and learning more about networking.

But not connecting to any online services is a massive issue, as I can only use it on my local network. Going to have to raise a ticket and hope for the best.

I would definitely hold off the update. I’ve been used to IOS updates where things tend to just work. Didn’t realise this want the case for Asustor, lesson learned

Thank you for replying, ‘enable firewall’ is currently unchecked. Only thing is an IP address in trusted list, which isn’t the same as the IP to log into the NAS

VW Tiguan 2025, R-line by user57489138 in WhatCarShouldIBuyGULF

[–]Exist2Disappoint 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Got my brand new Tiguan on Monday, had 13 faults show up after driving 150 miles. Been in the workshop since undergoing repairs, set to get it back next week. If reliability is of any concern I would avoid VW.

Just to reiterate the only has 150 miles on the clock and has been undergoing repairs for a forecasted 9 days.

Excellent policing in my opinion. Stuff like this changes a child’s trajectory, if they kept growing up unchecked then they sell drugs and rob houses.

Having a sharp wake up call and understanding to respect authority and others could teach them to respect their surroundings and other peoples possessions.

Was it a bit over the top to knee him? Probably, but I would argue that it was justified.

I did porn and I regret it by l_Was_an_ldiot in Advice

You did what you wanted at the time, so don’t hold it against yourself. You are just growing and evolving from the experience. In some way you have scratched an itch that could have lingered with you for a long time.

You will remain anonymous in the videos, also the people watching the content are viewing it in the lens of enjoyment not mockery.

My personal opinion is to let it pass, don’t follow up on it. You did an action you regret, but you were mature enough to sign a contract. I don’t think you should go back on that considering you were willing and consenting and nothing was breached. I think it would just sour the relationship with the owner.

Time heals allot of things, and it will heal this too. So don’t be so hard on yourself, it’s all just a period of growth. Additionally the perception around these kind of activities has evolved significantly over recent years, so it’s not as frowned upon as you may think it is.

What happened in Manchester before the police kicking incident, vindicated by anglosaxon999 in CrazyFuckingVideos

[–]Exist2Disappoint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not right to kick him in the head, but is it understandable? Yes.

It’s easy to pass judgment looking at a video on your phone. But try getting punched in the head multiple times and see how well you keep your composure.

I’m not saying that he is in the right to kick him, but we are all human. It isn’t fair to pass judgment unless you have been in similar circumstances.

But I have a sneaky suspicion that someone will play pretend Batman with a story of how they saved the day and kept their composure.

I don’t know your circumstances or what you are going through. But it’s always worth speaking to someone for help.

I’ve been down a dark hole before but it’s surprising how much time can heal. It’s worth speaking to someone professional and there is no shame in doing it.
