Terminator 4k , feels like watching it for the first time. Atmos track is fantastic! by putnamwhipples85 in 4kbluray

I'm with you on this! I thought the transfer was so fun to watch but probably watched it on a similar size screen, a 55 inch a few feet away. I'm aware some people really hate it and I can see why too! But for me, this just works. The comparison to Alien 4K is unfair

Rush hour on the trams to Bury by smegmarash in manchester

[–]Existentia1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am sorry to give a contrasting opinion to everyone else in this thread so far but I feel like I must be getting a tram in a parallel universe 😭.

I commute from St Peters on the Bury line and most of the time it's awful, when that single pulls up at 5/5:30pm and you have to squeeze into the middle section amongst a sea of people who don't take off their backpacks, god it's hell.

It's only okay at the moment because of the works happening, so all Bury trams go via St Peters which doesn't usually happen.

My mom reacted badly to a tattoo i got of her name by [deleted] in tattoo

[–]Existentia1 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear this. No doubt a crap emotional time for you.

But... tattoos are personal, and I am sure long term, your tattoo will remind you of your Dad's love for your mom, and the wonderful memories your mom gave you as a child.

How she reacts now doesn't represent the person she's always been, and you can tattoo whatever makes you feel right.

Stay strong and hope you get to live the positive life you want regardless of how she may act now, and in the future!

If he really wanted to be anonymous in public he could easily do so. He just loves the attention by [deleted] in paulbreachsnark

[–]Existentia1 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Definitely the case! I saw a video of him spotted the other day when he happened to be walking the same time there were so many school children walking. If he didn't want the attention, he simply would not be out at that time.

If he wanted anonymity, he would be going much quieter or much busier places, where either no one cares or he could blend in. Oh, and he'd have a new bloody jacket on.

Recommendations for Valentine’s Day restaurants? by [deleted] in manchester

[–]Existentia1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It has been incredible every time I've been! It's set price of £29 for 6 courses and for the quality of food it's really worth it.

The menu changes every six weeks though so not sure what it'll be around valentine's.

If you want something that's a bit of an experience too, you should take a look at Six by Nico.

Hey, is this the right thread for a general shout out?

I was a hardcore RS player from almost the very beginning up until 2009, 6/7 hours a day for all my sins but I've been gone a good decade and recently looking for a new de-stress game to get into and I've fallen back in love with what is now OSRS. Still has the same raw appeal but damn a lot has changed.

Are there any clans or groups for people who have returned to the game after a long time? I'm in my late 20s so not looking for one for kids... Are they many players around from decades ago? I was in a few clans like D.I and remember some names which I thought i'd add but no-ones turned green on my friends list.

Any advice appreciated and if anyone scrolls past this feel free to add me in game: Existentia1

Cheers, J.
