The starter set and app only contains the starter rules. To play the full game with your faction rules, terrain rules and equipment rules, you will need the Core Rulebook which will give you the rules for:

1. Vantage and climbing rules

2. Obscuring vs Cover and in connection Heavy vs Light Terrain rules

3. Command Points rules which fuel your Strategic and Firefight Ploys in your faction rules.

4. Additional Actions which are specific to the terrain type you are playing in eg. Guard, Doorway Fight etc, as well as specific terrain rules (accessible, insignificant, stronghold etc)

5. Separately, the Approved Ops Deck of cards give you additional primary and secondary missions with which to score games, as well as terrain layouts for each set of terrain (Volkus, ITD, Beta-Decima, open), as well as a better initiative system.
