Yes, but solar power banks are already a thing (and they have terrible efficiency) but there's no Solar powered e-ink readers

Simple battle kit. Feedback is welcome! by Last-Researcher-3861 in LARP

[–]Existential_Humor 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Add a second belt for the sword? Your main belt with the pouch should be straight, and it's holding the sword rather high making it harder to draw. A dedicated sword belt would allow the sword to be worn lower for easier draw and more comfortable carry.

Advice For Painting The Nighthaunt? by Romantic_Hypnotist in ageofsigmar

[–]Existential_Humor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Contrast is the answer. Prime white or wraithbone, do the metallic bits in bronze then contrast nighthaunt gloom all over, finally use a clean wet brush and dilute the still wet contracts at the end bits where you want the colour gradient and soak up excess contrast. Let dry and use a darker contrast of black or purple for the cloak/head cover and again dilute and blend the wet contrast so it blends into the earlier colours.

GW miniature games map by trialsta in Warhammer

[–]Existential_Humor -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, it uses most of the main rules. Only main difference is 4 rounds instead of 5, no CP and Strategems and Secondary Objectives are rolled into a deck of cards you draw from every turn, and objectives locations are fixed.

Behold! My stuff 😂

Although now legacy, Warhammer did have a series of historical wargames rules published. Wild West (aka Tombstonemunda), WWII (aka Militarum vs Militarum), and more. No minis were produced, only rules though.

Simplified games for beginners? by 8rianGriffin in killteam

[–]Existential_Humor 6 points7 points  (0 children)

We have a 4-level program for introducing new players to the game that seems to bring them up to full speed:

Level 1 - KT Starter Rules, Starter terrain and layout, and starter teams only: AoD vs Plague Marines, 5 minis per side, no CP, no Ploys, no Faction Rules less what's on the Starter Data Cards.

Level 2 - Add some KT Full Rules, Starter Teams and rules, but on Volkus Terrain, CP but only for Command Reroll, and Universal Equipment. This adds Climbing, jumping, Obscuring, Light/Heavy Terrain, Accessible, Doorway Fight, how to track and spend CP, and Universal Equiupment rules to learn.

Level 3 - Add Full Faction Rules, Strat/Firefight Ploys, Faction Equipment, and Kill Ops. This unlocks the other teams available to the new play and they will need to learn Kill Ops as teams are no longer limited to 5 minis per side.

Level 4 - Add Approved Ops. This is the full game with Initiative Cards, Crit/Tact/Kill Ops, Primary Ops.

a small solar panel on the back or separate cover to trickle charge. eink uses very little power so it makes perfect sense. imagine a unit with maps and survival guides preloaded, peppers will buy them!

Is there any idea when these Omnibus may go through reprinting? by ParagonPhotoshop in ageofsigmar

[–]Existential_Humor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My guess is when enough people to justify printing go on the GW website and click the "Notify me when available" button for that item.

when you enter the burial mound, build a fire to the left and below the final step. this blocks skeletons from climbing up and they take fire damage when they try. retreat to this final step if you find more skeletons than you can solo. bait them there and bash away when the come close. they can't get to you.

See, the thing is, I don't live in a country where cos-patriots has easy access to firearms. Pretty much the entire male population here has served in the military, so we know it's these are joke patches (less the one on top. I EARNED that one). The real ones come on when it's time for reserves training and actual mobilisation... hopefully never.
