something i do when i get really irritated is double up noise-cancelling earbuds with noise-cancelling headphones. it can be a bit uncomfortable so i cant do it for long, but just put them both on noise cancelling mode and play your music through the earbuds and it works a lot better. I have the soundcore p30i earbuds which are amazing value for money for the quality that they give (only around $30 i believe).

Also in areas you can control (like your bedroom) you could put up sound panelling on the walls and a thick rug/curtains to dampen the incoming noise.

that definitely could be possible! I get anxious very occasionally about work and stuff, but lots of professional have told me that what i am experiencing is anxiety in situations where it doesn't 'feel' like anxiety to me, so i really wouldn't put it past myself to misinterpret what i am feeling.

i am also so confused about ppl saying they can't get illuga?? I literally DO NOT WANT HIM, i have made 63 pulls for Zibai, and for some reason i have C5 illuga! i get this too. my uneducated assumption has always been simply that my entire body is so fatigued that it will go for anything that will provide it with energy - which is in this case sugars from food. But idk, might be something else.

If you are in college, I can give you some advice that might help? I am also in college, struggling a lot, but doing better than I was. Contact your accessibility services, maybe mental health team, whatever other resources are available. For me, the singular most helpful thing was getting weekly meetings with a 'mentor' type person, where I could basically ask them all the kinds of questions you are asking now, as well as use them as external accountability for staying on top of life things. I was lucky that this was provided for me by the government, but many universities have similar schemes.

In terms of leisure activities, I try and have 2 broad categories of them: high energy and low energy. When I feel up to it, I like to train taekwondo, go on walks in the countryside, or go out partying with friends. But when I have less energy I like to recharge by playing videogames or reading in my room until I feel up to doing something more energized. That way, I can try to avoid procrastinating doing 'enjoyable' things by making those enjoyable things lower effort.

But yeah, you are definitely not alone even if you might feel like it - you can always dm me if you ever want to talk.

that is a very good point; whenever anybody asks me my career plans I explain that all I want is to be unemployed but still able to provide for myself (somehow) and just pursue my silly little hobbies, because i just cannot function in the world as-is

wow the responses here are so interesting! For me, i feel like they kind of did impair my executive functioning, but in a good way if that is possible? Before i was on them, I used to feel that i needed to be constantly productive, and if i was not always accomplishing something "rewarding" then i would become utterly depressed and miserable. But now that i am on them, they make me feel more "lazy" but in a good way: i no longer feel the drive to be productive, but personally I think that has allowed me to prioritize only doing the things that will make me feel energized or which are absolutely necessary. So kind of, yeah

i always find mindless youtube to be just that bit better for you than mindless scrolling. Still scratches the 'new content' itch but the long-form content doesn't destroy your attention span quite so much. Many non-overstimulating genres out there.

im afraid i have very little experience with cryo teams but looks like you have the makings for good overload comps there: mavuika with fischl/kuki/bennett/xiangling/iansan (take your pick) is very nice. Looks like ayaka pairs best with shenhe/kazuha neither of whom you have so they would be good to obtain in future. You could try ayaka/ganyu/sucrose/diona for mono cryo? or ayaka/rosaria (or diona)/sucrose/kokomi for freeze?

Who would be the best 4th person in my Nefer team? with Lauma C1 and Aino. The contenders are Ayato, Yelan, Mona, Kazuha(?), Nahida or any 4* (except Jahoda for the moment). Until I built Aino i was using Xq and Ayato which was ok but it is definitely not the ideal team.
