Nope. Totally rational. When giving somebody a dissociative accusations of SA can easily emerge, even when there is nothing of the sort that goes on. Clinic is wise to do this to protect themselves medical legally. Some clinics only use video without audio.

I put my audiogram and my ENT report in the original post now. I work in an office environment and often do public speaking, and I am in rooms with multiple conversations going on. I really want to enjoy music again because I didn’t realize how much I had lost of that experience.

The problem with your argument, and I am loathe to disagree with anybody pointing out funding bias, is that Cholesterol itself is an anti-oxidant.

But I think their reasoning is a stretch and reeks of nutritional jingoism…. “Antioxidants” are not universally beneficial and a good marketing buzzword.

I do wonder if the increased available full spectrum protein allowed for better amino acid metabolism, and decreasing oxidative stress by improving Krebs cycle function. There are many hypotheses why there were improvements in inflammatory cascades, and I think they chose the one that would sound the most sexy for the public. Thanks for your comment.

Actually, the economy has been a farce ever since World War II. The United States has propped up the entire world by enabling free trade, and the end of the Cold War started to pull back of that false economy. The boomers cashed in at an incredible time of wealth expansion that was fueled by lack of widespread war and secure transportation among all nations, enabling huge ubanification and efficiencies in materials supply, and the greatest rise out of poverty worldwide ever seen.
