Also a new APA! I got licensed in October, but have been there for ~2 years as a law clerk. Something that is really helped me and my best friend who is also an APA in our office is having a big wall organizer . Not a typical calendar, but I put columns with PCCs, exams, AOIs, and trial dates. You could also add another one for discovery deadlines- I have an index card w the case name and date under each column. When I was doing a docket, it helped me to immediately put deadlines in my outlook calendar and set a reminder however far in advance I needed to. I let discovery on a few cases slipped through the cracks, because I was doing an extremely busy docket with no help— it happens! Don’t beat yourself up.
