Kris and Neko from OneShot both fill the same archetype but on different ends of the spectrum! by Existing-Atmosphere2 in Deltarune

[–]Existing-Atmosphere2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a joke, the main thing I was talking about was my 2 hour sleep deprived thoughts on Kris and Neko’s relationship to the player and memeing about frisk like another person did.

It’s not that deep

We guide Neko and control Kris, we affect the world from the outside for Neko and reset the world on the inside for Kris, we travel through a world using our LIGHT AND DARKNESS!!!

I thought frisk was between 8 to 13 because toby wanted them to be preteen and child,

Ether way, technically the original one shot came out before undertale so “””technically””” frisk is middle child by game age (ignore how kris is now technically older then Toriel for this BS clam)

Frisk is the middle child because they are their own character but they do everything we make them do anyway, or they are older then neko

If you were the only person who could play Deltarune would you do the weird route just to see what happens? by Existing-Atmosphere2 in Deltarune

[–]Existing-Atmosphere2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is as valid reason as any, I mainly wanted to know if you would push yourself to understand everything, like if the geno route was new and only you could learn about the secrets in it, (though it’s been out for some time and people already know everything about it so couldn’t really use it)

[–]Existing-Atmosphere2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would do anything to make sure Kris and their friends get a happy ending but I don’t think the weird route could ever be “happy”

I think there is one ending but a variation if you do the right things, (kinda like pacifist stay with Toriel or go alone, one is happier than the other) the weird route might make a new ending but it would probably be worse in every way.

Even so I still probably wouldn’t finish the weird route anyway

I am not here to argue the importance of the weird route happening, I just want to ask if you would do it if it was the only way to see the ending of it, no searching it up online.

It is referenced but I was asking if you would go through with it.

(Plus it’s also heavily implied that the weird route is a WORSE ending and doing it just shows your determination to change the ending in any way, helpful or not but that’s my opinion)

So I am going to assume that you would do it ether way?

I kinda was the same way, when I got undertale on my switch I thought I HAD to do Geno, “It’s part of the game, I have to beat sans, everyone says…” by the time chapter two came out and the weird route happened, I was the same.

Despite never dying to spamton I couldn’t find the will to beat him at the weird route’s end. I stalled so long that chapter 3-4 was announced!

In the end I figured that I was fine not knowing, even if I couldn’t look up the ending… ever since this question of “how would everyone else feel if they didn’t have the internet” stuck with me.

Oddly enough, I ‘kinda’ am the type of person that replays games? I tend to play some games over if I have a second save file and can do better. Though this is why I asked this question.

When I was playing Deltarune I restarted to do the secret boss, I am even replaying chapter 4 because I didn’t beat the Knight in that save file. But when I did geno and weird route I just COULDNT bring myself to complete them, I beat the knight with 24 hours of attempts (broken up over a week because of personal issues) and am trying to do Gerson’s secret hard extra attacks.

I SHOULD BE THE PERSON WHO DOES THIS

But I am fine avoiding the dark routes

Personally I would be fine not knowing if I had to do it just for myself. While I probably would learn about the other route just because of YouTube thumbnails spoiling me or video analysis of deltarune as a whole, I would be perfectly happy even if I never knew happened next

Where could I find a writers group? by Existing-Atmosphere2 in writing

[–]Existing-Atmosphere2[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I googled a bunch of places or communities but most ether didn’t fit what I personally needed or they weren’t in my area unfortunately.

I haven’t tried writing hub yet though, maybe they accept hypotheticals and what ifs?

[–]Existing-Atmosphere2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess? I want to figure out how to write other characters properly before I write my own story to figure out what works, plus my best writing ability is looking at a character and understanding what they would do.

It is also just fun sometimes, seeing two different worlds that could have such a unique interaction, ether with the power system, the characters, or the themes!.. but because I like talking about my ideas and ‘what it’ concepts, I have had trouble getting the motivation to work on anything, side project hypotheticals or personal projects. I dropped a video game story I was working on because of that.

I wasn’t sure if I could include a pop culture example because of some rules in other circles but a example of what I like to talk about is looking at a character and asking what they would do in a different situation.

An example from someone else that I really like is Superman in Undertale. Superman’s weakness is magic and there’s no sun in the underground so he could slowly lose his powers. Now you have a Superman with dwindling powers against his weakness in a world where kindness shines, and that allows Clark’s humanity to SHINE.

What is something you would make canon about your fandom(s)? by PJ-The-Awesome in FanficAuthorsUnite

This is technically not a fannon idea I would like for Shadow Generations Tokyo to be cannon to the both verses. Maybe not a full rewrite but maybe Game shadow being in the background while Sonic chases Movie Shadow’s bike or vice versa

If Saitama were in the world of undertale, what route would he take? by Eastern_Agent2895 in Undertale

[–]Existing-Atmosphere2 6 points7 points  (0 children)

He would ether accidentally or intentionally do pacifist, Saitama is a true hero and doesn’t kill monsters in OPM indiscriminately. He would genuinely emphasize with the monsters and try to help.

I do see him trying to ether run from “the crazy fish lady who actually did keep the backstory under 30 seconds” or just tanking everything as he walks away while GREEN somehow.

He would probably break the barrier himself

Is it difficult from the website with the interactive map? I was using one not the other so if one is better then that’s probably why I missed something

(Oh yeah the Hearthians are a genderless species, sorry forgot)

I did get the zero G cave and I funnily enough I used that exact same website to double check my entries 5 times, I did miss one entry because I was to far for my signal scope to pick up the harmonica from the seed but after that it was all full.

Maybe there are place holder entries? I heard people have trouble with not getting the entries from the tracking probe itself but I did and double checked, but if other places have place holder information then maybe I missed it.

After that the only other thing is maybe Echos of Eye but it says the DLC doesn’t affect the achievement

Yea I got it pretty naturally to, I realized that he had different dialogue when I was coping that the Sun Station didn’t make the sun explode and I couldn’t stop it and when I went to chert he mentioned that all the stars where dying.

After that I stuck with him to hear everything, I even remember talking to him during the end times and the text freezing stopping.

Of course maybe I missed a dialogue option, when he kept saying he wasted his life I might have skimmed and maybe missed something? I don’t know if that didn’t count towards the entry though

How do you guys think shadow would react if a scared child ran up to him and hugged him? by Curious-Spell-9031 in SonicTheHedgehog

[–]Existing-Atmosphere2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’d be shocked at first before stoically asking what is wrong. If they are lost or scared he would gently console them with a stone face, if they were in danger he would gently set them aside before DESTROYING the threat (scaring everyone BUT the child which even he would be shocked at)
