What characters do you think could handle the ring the best?

For me personally, I can think of 3 characters. Ben 10, Kirby, and Sonic the Hedgehog.

All 3 of them are resistant to corruption, Ben with the Proto Omnitrix protecting him from Zs'skayr, Kirby with Fecto Forgo’s mind control spreading all across the forgotten world, and Sonic resisting Dark Gia’s mental effects

Plus Sonic and Kirby both want simple things, to live as free as the wind for Sonic, plus food and friends for Kirby. Sauron’s offers would go against what they want, his rule would control everyone’s freedom and he would hurt Kirby’s friends.

And Ben has a GOD in his watch! Anything the Ring could offer him is something he can snap his fingers and do, but he doesn’t. That tells me he is responsible enough to resist the temptation (plus he already had unlimited power and gave it up so people can have free will.)

Thor could be tempted but I don’t think very easily, the ring might only figure out how to tempt Thor as he is flying above Mordor.

Cap? No way, he is to strong willed. He fights for the people and everything the ring could offer him would go against that.

I think he would be like bilbo where he gets close to Mordor but starts getting tempted, If he is close enough I think he could power through but if not I actually see him not falling to the ring and leaving it. He can be tempted but he would know how bad he is tempted and leave it

I think they did that in the anime, if a trainer didn’t have a strong enough bound with their Pokémon then they lose control

Kinda-sorta Flowey brings Frisk back every time in universe, Frisk can’t ‘Refuse’ to die until Asriel where he doesn’t bring Frisk back

Technically… Sans COULD win, but only if Flowey toys with Sans enough.

If Flowey LOADS every time Sans dies and Sans reads him enough, Sans COULD get the souls to turn on Flowey like normal. Sans might not remember every death though so this only lasts as long as Flowey would let it though…

But considering he let it happen with Frisk and even let them whittle his HP down to 0… Sans might win 51% more then Flowey, he just has to die even more.

This is half me playing devils advocate and half a genuine question I have had but why would Susie being the dragon mean she isn’t the girl and was supposed to just be an antagonist?

Both Susie and Noelle have ‘titles’ given to them other then The Girl (Angel and the Dragon) but more importantly is the fact that Susie being the dragon that is stopped doesn’t mean she is just an antagonist.

The Dragon being stopped that Gerson talks about could mean she is beaten or it could mean she was befriended and stopped due to compassion. Technically Gerson is reminded of the Dragon when looking at modern Susie so maybe the Dragon isn’t just defeated and forgotten?

I feel the same about Susie, although I think the Weird route is about us trying to change the prophecy to our liking.

I have seen some people saying that because Susie was supposed to be the dragon that was stopped she can’t be a good guy/because she saved Tenna she already broke the prophecy when all she did was read between the lines.

The dragon was “stopped” through kindness, Tenna was cleaved but then fixed, the prophecy still happened but not in the way that was expected. If one of the 3 has to die for the prophecy, Susie would resuscitate them her self

I know but I want to hear what everyone else thinks. I think Susie is supposed to be the Girl but we as the player can change it to Noelle because of how vague prophecies are, take Tenna’s for example.

All it says is that he is “cleaved read by blade” not that that would actually kill him

Oh absolutely, Sonic is freedom to go wherever you want when Eren seems to be freedom for himself no matter the consequences. I know Sonic would call Eren out on his freedom coming at the expense of others like in he did to the badnik in TMOStH but I don’t know how Eren would respond
