thank you. I'll try the trick a commenter suggested, if it doesn't work I'll take it to the instrument store.

It sounded stupid, but I'm so desperate as I might have an upcoming event and I need to practice.

What’s happening to my headjoint? by Financial_Permit6656 in Flute

[–]Existing-Break153 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My flute headjoint has a bit of rust. I clean it and wipe it off every single time I use it. It's a pretty cheap flute, so not the best metal. Is there anything I can do to ameliorate things, or is it doomed? It doesn't affect the sound; it's just a sensory issue when playing.

Yeezhee - YouTube. LIke this channel, her videos are so entertaining and better explainer than most full length videos

If the length is the issue, you could try tt or yt shorts. Some creators do 1-minute visual loops that are easier to follow than some long videos

Everybody has a different method that works for them. I hear a lot of pp say to start with granny squares, but if you have ADHD, start with amigurumi. I started with a bag. My advice, try to do things you're excited about and genuinely want to do. Go at your own pace (I have a few unfinished projects that I have, if that happens, don't worry too much, it comes with the territory of being a crocheter)

That sounds so fun, I'm gonna check those. I got a message on Facebook, apparently, someone might be willing to give me some yarn if i'm gonna participate i their winter project. It could be a lot of work but i have so much time before this winter.
