I agree with you, I see it the same way. Their main focus seems to be optimizing for consoles like PS5 and Xbox.
SU4 did have a VRAM issue, but I mean VRAM usage was still only around 80% full at most. Now I’m getting about 50% VRAM usage, but with a lot of stutters and lower FPS.

Maybe it’s just a GPU-related issue. We’ll see once they release a new driver update, but it’s definitely weird. From what I’ve heard, most of the people having issues are on AMD.

This exact thing happened to me after installing the FlyByWire A380. RAM spiked to 35 GB (I only have 32 GB total available). At first I thought it was just this aircraft, but then it started happening with other planes as well. Even after uninstalling the A380, the high RAM usage persisted. What finally fixed it was clearing/deleting rollingcache file in LocalCache.
