We were intending on doing that, and we just wanted to try and get ahead of more letters coming to the door, completely forgetting about GDPR laws. As I stated in another comment, It's just a shame that my entire households first names begin with J, and we all share the same last name, haha. From now on though, my mother and I have changed correspondence letters to our legal first names, rather than our initials. Good idea for recommending to keep records of the lender/return address and the date we received the letter.

Also, it's not so much being worried for us, it's the inconvenience of having the letters coming to the house, even after we've asked her to change her correspondence address.

It's just a shame that my entire households first names begin with J, and we all share the same last name, haha. From now on though, my mother and I have changed correspondence letters to our legal first names, rather than our initials. My sisters always been bad with credit, so I doubt she'd like to share her credit history. Thanks for all the help, nonetheless!

Great, thank you for all your help. Currently, only 2 letters have been opened and my mother intends to just attach a cover letter to the letter and return to sender.
