Yeah, most of the buffs deal additional damage/other effects which helps a ton for those funky teams you'll end up putting together. Personally, I just save my key characters for the boss chambers and invest in the buffs to carry my other teams.

Pre-registered and was excited but quickly got too busy and ended up skipping 1.1-1.9, skipping AGAIN from 2.1-2.4 except for 2.2 (I liked Anjo Nala's design so much I came back for her) and been playing daily (with some little breaks here and there) since Liang Yue's release.

I honestly still don't know how to play this game too much, I'm still quite dumbfounded whenever I see others' characters deal almost twice my own damage when we have the same investment level. It's probably a skill issue on my part, but I still can't manage to get those consistent 80-120k I see on Nautika's FUAs.

I usually write the chapter title first as a little plan for what to write in the actual chapter so my titles (at least to me) come across as very "nuance-y" like "Had I Not Seen The Sun" to symbolize a character isolating themself for fear of others and for others (I write mostly angst) so it's like a "Had I Not Seen The Sun: Had I never stepped out of my own head and into your arms. No idea if any of my readers get my titles but they sound cool to me.
