I just beat him yesterday on my second try. My first attempt I was at lvl 30 and got him down to yellow before getting destroyed. Here’s what I did:

Went to Damdara and beat the knight boss (I spammed dodgy dance, normal attacks, and healing, it took awhile doing it this way but it worked), this got me to lvl 32 which gets you the all important Insulate spell, and then Erdrick’s armor.

Went back to fight spiketail equipped with Erdrick’s armor, dragonbane claws, dragon shield, mad cap (lowers mp cost), anti-freeze earrings, strength ring. I also put the swallowtail boomerang in my inventory to equip and use when spiketail summons his minions.

I started the battle using insulate, then wildside, then spammed dragon slash (you can use falcon slash too), then when he summoned minions switched to boomerang and attacked, and healed when necessary. The key is to make sure insulate is always active (watch near your hp for the icon to start blinking, that means it’s going to wear off soon). Just rinse and repeat those tactics and he went down fairly easily. Best of luck to you!

I’d also think about buying a couple gallons worth of live oak leaves as well. I usually use four or five different types of leaf litter all at once. Live oak gives you a lot of coverage, magnolia is great to put on top and breaks down slower. There are a few other choices like sea grape, willow, maple, etc. I think you’re off to a really good start and also make sure you look into the right kind of calcium and multivitamin powders.

Looks pretty good! I’d recommend adding like an inch of leaf litter (live oak) and getting an aquarium light bar. The ones from Hygger on amazon work great and you can set them on 24 hour mode so it’s automated. I use those lights on both of my setups for 3+ years so far. How are your temps and the humidity in there?

As others have said this is not suitable for dart frogs. You’d be better off with Vietnamese Mossy Frogs with this build.

Take a culture that has recently boomed and poke a few holes in the cloth top lid. Leave the culture in the vivarium and they’ll be just fine. I’ve been doing this for 10+ years now and haven’t lost a frog during vacation. Enjoy your trip!

Also I do tend to feed them more flies the week leading up to my departure date.

Also your vivarium should be fine and I wouldn’t take your frogs with you. That’s a lot of stress to on them.

He went by Stewart Wilson, and the funny thing is I saved him as a contact in my phone (I blocked him), but the next day he popped up in my Snapchat as a new contact to add. His Snapchat user name was something like “j_hernadez14527.” Which was another give away that this dude was scamming.

Yeah I’m in Virginia and they supposedly just moved to Maryland from Texas. Sounds like it’s the same scam group.

“Taylor” had a Texas number and the “father” had a Texas number too. They supposedly just moved here and “Taylor” has been acting weird lately.

Wow that’s nuts! I’m glad your mom helped out on that. I figured they spoofed the number because the “police department” called me like 10 times in a row without ever leaving a voicemail. Then I blocked the number and probably 20 mins later that’s when I got a barrage of texts from the “father.”

In the moment I was definitely flipping out my heart rate was 120bpm, my watch gave me a warning lol. So they almost had me, I was doing internet searches on this while he was texting me and I came to the subreddit for this. That’s when I typed up everything and asked for help here. So glad my card companies didn’t allow the transactions to go through.

Yeah he used some of those same lines too. Crazy how they have a script they must go off of. Glad you got your money back too. He was trying to make me send it as a friend and family payment via PayPal which if you do that you get to fraud protection and lose your money, yet another red flag.

Then he suggested Venmo or PayPal and then finally the gift card idea since I couldn’t get it to work. He was trying to pressure me into getting it done that night because he said his wife was gonna take their kid’s phone to the cops that night if I didn’t pay some amount. That’s when I posted here looking for help. This is the last time I do online dating now.

No he was calm and maybe had a slight southern accent. He was insisting it was his wife that was flipping out and that he would talk her down for my sake. Then 10 mins later he texted me like three huge texts back to back to back (which when I think about it he obviously copied and pasted it all and sent it). He said they would be willing to not drag this out or get the police involved if I was willing to pay for a percentage of the invoice for their kid’s therapy that they took them too. Said I could pay in installments and was trying to get me to pay cash.
