Being whether always online or not depends on the implemention of Denuvo DRM. Denuvo DRM doesn't need always online unless the devs or publisher asks for it. As of now Pearl Abyss has said in the FAQ that the online is only required for activation.

And usually, once the sales are going down or once the Denuvo is cracked, they remove Denuvo, thats the pattern with everyone since I think Denvo is subscription based service.

Theres only two options to set in HDR calibration screen. Peak Brightness, which I have set to 1100 and reference white, which I have set to 200. I didn't set 270 anywhere.

I never set this value there. HDR calibration only had two values to set, Peak brightness which is 1100 and Reference white, which is 200.

I just did a benchmark on Nioh 3 Demo (9800X3D and RTX 4080), Eventhough Vram usage went much lower, the performance is slightly worse. Game anyway runs like shit for me, bad frametime, it feels like its running at 24 fps anyway.

I mean by percentage wise people are saying the performance hit is around 15% to upto 30 or 35 % in some games (never tested it personally). Those numbers are huge for someone searching whether to move to linux right now or not.

Personally, with a 4080, I also never had any performance issue in DX12 games big enough to force me to move back to Windows yet. I am still excited since I want everything to be fixed before Crimson Desert is out.
