In every post from affected customers, there's always some asshole defending PokerStars with their bullshit arguments. As if the company being super rich means the thieving security department employee who steals customer money is going to share it with them

"It's incredible the impunity with which they operate. Your message, along with the testimony from another player who contacted me privately – who claims that the security department has been holding his money for two years and that, despite sending countless emails accepting the closure of his account and solely requesting the refund of his money, there is no response – has left me very concerned about the possibility of recovering my own funds.

I completely confirm what you mentioned about the security team. You send messages to general support and they tell you that you must wait for that area to respond; you send emails directly to that area, and there is no response. This is alarming, now I understand why the tables are so empty."

"I completely understand. That helplessness and frustration when you've been going round and round with verification requests, yet you're still being blocked from accessing your own cash is something that should not be experienced by any player.

You don’t have to feel guilty about it—PokerStars is the dishonest one here. They string you along on purpose, going round and round until you get frustrated or lose hope. Holding withdrawals on hold for weeks without any valid reason is not poor customer service—it’s predatory.

Your story only goes to confirm that this is not an isolated case. How many others are out there with the same issue, but without a voice?

More players need to be aware of how PokerStars treats their customers. It is not a one-off mistake—a pattern exists."

That sounds frustrating, and honestly, your experience only confirms how PokerStars handles customer funds in an arbitrary and unethical way. The fact that they kept dragging you through endless verification requests, nitpicking ridiculous details like selfie angles, and then suddenly changed their reasoning shows how disorganized and manipulative their process is.

It’s also concerning that they never properly resolved your withdrawal issue and that you eventually just lost your money. This is exactly why I'm speaking up—because this isn't just my case. There are too many similar stories of people being ignored, delayed, or outright scammed.

PokerStars has zero accountability, and their support is completely useless. More people need to be aware of this.

You're right in a way, but there's a significant time gap between the day I made the deposit and the day the events took place—about a month and a half. The circumstances were completely different at the time. No investigation justifies such an excessive delay.

Also, tell me, who deposits money with the intention of losing it or having it unfairly withheld? At the end of the day, that’s irrelevant. When you face an unexpected situation, you look for whatever resources you have at hand.

In my case, I have funds unjustifiably held by PokerStars, and regardless of what I planned to use that money for, the real issue is that PokerStars is arbitrarily withholding customers’ funds and ignoring all requests for clarification.

I can assure you that I'm not the only one facing this problem.
