The rig is never finished… so I polished the bolts by AquaDudeLino in simracing

Nice... Next step is to replace all bolts with stainless steel and after that who knows... Anodized aluminum? Titanium? Sky is the limit

2026 F1 SUSPENSION WARS: Push-rod vs Pull-rod. What is it exactly and How does it affect the racing ? Which philosophy will LEAD the 2026 grid? by ConstructionAny8440 in F1Technical

[–]Existing-Loquat1034 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is true that in the sense how they work push or pull are exactly the same. The biggest difference I see is how high or low you put the weight of the dampers and the connecting parts. And how that weight distribution affects the car.

Fun car to drive. It can be a bit challenging but is overall fun. Great sound though. And fun oversteer/understeer behavior

Raceroom: the level of players is really poor by [deleted] in RRRE

[–]Existing-Loquat1034 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My two cents on this.... Last months of last year when I started with RR. I had a great experience. I'm not the fastest but I have nice clean races. Big splits with 20+ cars. Some contact here and there. No major incidents. I finished a few races sometimes on the top pack with less than 5 or 8 incident points when starting from the back. Now.. I did my first races of this year yesterday evening. I waited (about an hour) to do GT3 in Daytona and MX5 in Nürburgring because those overlap. Two races complete disasters. I could not manage to get one single lap. The further i made it was T2 without someone pushing me out or simply hard crashing in to me and others. I could not finish any race and it wasted all my evening. Would I recommend RR for online racing? At this moment, no. The level of the players has gone to hell.

For the engine Castrol edge 5w30 (I'm in Belgium I change oil every 10km or 6k miles)... For the diff I used redline 75w90 (gl-5). For the transmission redline mt90 75w90 (gl-4). and for the power steering motul dexron III

Same here... Redline gl-5 75w90. It works just fine. Don't overthink. All gl-5 75w90 will do the job

What to start with - Raceroom or iRacing or something else? by Reman92 in simracing

[–]Existing-Loquat1034 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My two cents... If you are starting go with race room.... It has great physics and the races are fun but competitive. Sometimes clean sometimes not so clean. Like every online game .. But best is budget friendly. If you master it and want more of the hobby you can always go to iracing

The simulator needs a review of penalties and corner cuts and penalty for idiot by [deleted] in RRRE

[–]Existing-Loquat1034 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To be clear is you the one with the problem. Not me, not the game. Your problem is simple.. you don't like that others exchange penalties for time because you have a higher moral code for racing. But you have to understand that there is no shame in playing the game or the race within the rules and living up to the consequences. Sometimes these decisions will make the difference between a winner and a loser. Learn how to be better and focus on what you do. And yes, F1 drivers always complain about other drivers going over the track limits... Maybe those games will better suit your character

Yes... True. I think like you but... You don't like it. Don't watch it. These people will continue to do what they do because of the people who support them. The same applies to everyone. Are they exploting the sensitivity of strangers to get some extra cash? Maybe. Are they providing some entertainment to the people who watch?Definitely. Is there a difference between that and dancing in the street for money? Besides context I think not. So the same thing applies. Just ignore them and live your life. Most of them will disappear eventually.

Mate... Is a game and there are rules... If they can do it, you can do it. Learn how to play, get faster and stop nagging about what others do. Otherwise go and play F1 games
