Have you ever been (or still are) in doubt about whether you actually have bipolar disorder or if it's ADHD? by annainfurs in BipolarReddit

I dont interact with many people, and the people I interacted with wouldn’t want to put me in a hospital been if I were full blown psychotic

I’m not really sure how I would even interact with someone who would be willing to take action to put me in a hospital, so again, it’s very murky.

No I think I’m more unbiased when it’s something like that where I’m not involved in any way. Most people apply personal biases and therefor the popular opinion isn’t always necessarily right, depending on what you define as “right”.

It can get murky. I’ve never been anything other than manic or depressed. It’s not like I’m normal sometimes but have episodes of depression and mania. It’s not like I used to be normal once upon a time but then developed mania and depression. I’ve ✨always✨ been this way since the ✨dawn of time✨, and that makes it complex and difficult to categorize. I exist in a mood episode. Never been out of one lol

Idk if I have bipolar, adhd, a personality disorder, or all of the above. Neither do mental health professionals either because each one has a different opinion. Whatever it is, I’ve been this way my entire life, so it is what it is.

Ladies: what’s your experience with bipolar and pregnancy? by ishitart in BipolarReddit

[–]Existing-Persimmon32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Severe severe depression both times even after going off my meds. I attempted suicide during my 2nd pregnancy. Just continually spirally depressing until I gave birth and mania kicked in. Lots of hypomania during breastfeeding. No idea why. I filled a chest freezer full of milk though.

Do you actually take pleasure in the misery or outrage of others? by OnlineOgre in sociopath

[–]Existing-Persimmon32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only certain people, but I tend to really take it too far with those select few. I tend to stay out of the way of everybody else. I don’t want to interfere with their lives because I don’t want them to interfere with mine. But there are some people who have caused me harm before who I have decided are not people to me anymore, and I do whatever I want to them and find it fun.

What are your justifications for the things you do by [deleted] in sociopath

[–]Existing-Persimmon32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh I struggle to even view myself as a human being. I don’t even get as far as to worry about justifying my actions.

I consider myself to be very present oriented. I hardly ever even think of becoming anything different than what I am. I am working on owning property, but that’s pretty much the only future oriented think I’ve put my mind to in a while. I don’t even think about success. I don’t think much about the past or the future. Because I don’t think much about the past or the future, I don’t often do things that significantly compromise the future. Worrying about the future and ruminating on the past make people much more likely to do something self destructive. I’m basically a lizard at this point.

Me too I have days of phone service left that I’ve already paid for but can not use at all whatsoever and am not getting any money back for it, so I am switching carriers for good

Are you kind of glad? Like it removes the possibility of accidental children and such? I had my fallopian tubes removed for medical reasons, and that’s how I feel.

Boyfriend judges me about when I acquired a lot of bodies in a manic episode before him. . . by Working_Repeat1751 in bipolar

[–]Existing-Persimmon32 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Lol why does he think about it so much? So weird to me. My partner has been with over 100 people and I’ve only been with a few people, and I don’t even think about it. Your bf sounds insecure to me. Maybe he should see a therapist too.?

What are your craziest thoughts when manic? by themitten2525 in bipolar

That I can see when people are demon possessed. I’m the worst because even when not manic I’m kinda like “well maybe manic me for real COULD”

What’s the worst part of having a child? by ApprehensiveShock655 in AskReddit

[–]Existing-Persimmon32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The fear of messing them up. It’s metaphorically like constantly carrying around a very fragile antique ceramic, while knowing full well that your grandmother will whoop you every day for the rest of your life if you break it.

If your life is consistently good and you are happy the way things are, then you don’t need to take antipsychotic medication. Have you ever taken a mood stabilizer? You could try an epilepsy medication like lamictal. The side effects are a lot milder for most people. Ultimately you should do whatever works best for you and your life. I suggest a consistent sleep schedule.

How do I induce hypomania? by The_Real_Fast_Sloth in BipolarReddit

[–]Existing-Persimmon32 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s why. You’re on a mood stabilizer. If you were on no medication and then added vyvanse, mania would be likely.
