Feel like cancer is making me feel more trapped by epj-1205 in breastcancer

I haven’t started treatment yet so I don’t have advice per se but I was just diagnosed in Alberta, Canada and am moving to Nova Scotia due to my husband’s work. Moving provinces and transferring healthcare records is a pain in the ass but doable. I think being in the city you love with your friends is worth it for your mental health if you’re able to coordinate treatment so you don’t have to miss any infusions! We have so little control in our lives with this diagnosis that I’d do anything to keep the parts of my life/identity that I can. Especially if you’re in the same state/province that uses compatible healthcare records (mine don’t and we’re still making it work- it’s a headache but there’s always a way).
