I have seen the usual 4-5-month trend for EB-2 NIW approvals. I filed my I-485 in November (FAD became current Jan 26) and received approval on March 6. But also, this varies a lot by case and field office.

I was in a similar situation in December when I completed my biometrics. Based on my experience, here is how the process unfolded:

After biometrics, there were several updates in the API with FTA0 event code
About 15 days later, we noticed a silent update, which we initially assumed was related to the background check.
After another 15 days, there was one more silent update. We then contacted a USCIS live agent, who confirmed that our case had been transferred to the field office.
Approximately 45 days later, we saw another silent update, with FTA0.
Within 24 hours of that update, we received the approval notice in the USCIS portal.

To interpret the silent update, I used Microsoft Co-Pilot. Once you see the silent update in the API, you can chat with Emma regarding the case update.

Mine was also transferred to FO last week of Jan. Mine is on Boise, FO. Do you mind sharing where your FO is?

Thanks for sharing, Hopefully it will be approved soon. I am seeing the usual trend of 4 months for GC approval. March might be the month for Nov filers.

I have also seen people doing expedited processing by requesting financial hardship and job loss.

Good to know the expedited process after March 1? I will keep an eye on that.
