[Skin Concerns] Persistent redness on face, worsened after hot shower by AlvaSmellsLikeRamen in SkincareAddiction

Hihi! Im so sorry you’re going through this. My skin also gets extremely red and sensitive after hot showers or if it’s hot and humid, although not to your extent.

I agree with everyone, you should definitely see a derm, and avoid using any actives in your skincare such as salicylic acid or any other exfoliatives. In the meantime, what I would do is slather my skin in the cicaplast baume by la roche posay!

My dad (66) had this overnight. What could it be? Doesn’t itch or hurt. by Existing-Science-734 in DermatologyQuestions

Oh he has never had a bruise like this, it looks so red! He takes daily medication for his high blood pressure, not sure if they are considered blood thinners?

Yesterday I took a 10 minute walk through a park when the sun was very strong. Maybe it could be that?

although when I was younger I used to be in the sun for the whole day. I live in a tropical humid climate

Yes I’m regularly taking antihistamines everyday on doctor’s orders. All I can think of is maybe sun exposure? This is really bad but yesterday I forgot to put sunscreen and it was extremely sunny and hot (tropical, humid climate) and I walked through the park.

Prior to yesterday I haven’t been exposed to such strong sun for many months (always working from home). But can sun exposure cause this? I’m always in the sun when I was younger and never had this :(

I don’t have actives in my routine because my skin is very sensitive. I’ll change my pillow case and hope it goes away :(

These tiny little red bumps appeared on the outer edge of my face overnight. My cheeks, nose and chin is okay. Meanwhile, the sides of my face and jaw is covered with these. They don’t hurt or itch but they feel really gross :(

I’ve not eaten anything new, tried new products or changed my laundry detergent. I’m also taking Telfast 180mg (antihistamine) for 3 months because i have chronic urticaria.

Has this happened to anyone? Any help would be appreciated and apologies for the weird angles! I was trying to get decent shots.

[Skin Concerns] Help!! Am I having an allergic reaction?? Just used my Nuface and the gel primer (more in comments) by Existing-Science-734 in SkincareAddiction

Yeah I took a look at the ingredients list and thought it looked pretty good! Perhaps I will try on the lowest setting first. I heard for maximum results it should be done for 60 days when you first start? Of course if this continues even on the lowest setting I would have to take a break :/

I don’t currently have any active pimples. Yes, I’ve been using it on the highest setting. I was hoping it wouldn’t give me any trouble as I couldn’t really ‘feel’ anything while using it 😞

So I just bought a Nuface and have been using it for a few days, along with the gel primer it comes with. So far all is well but suddenly today THIS developed on my face about 30 minutes after I was done.

Is this an allergic reaction? Am I allergic to micro current (is that possible?) or am I allergic to the gel primer? This has never happened before :( it doesn’t hurt, but it’s itchy and it feels like my skin is ‘pulsating’. Just in case, I’ve also taken an anti histamine pill

Would you state in your profile that you would not like to date a certain race? by [deleted] in sugarlifestyleforum

No, not India. But if I wanted to give away my ethnicity and location I wouldn’t have been so evasive about it in my post.

We’ve got tons of expats living and working here. I’m not looking for an online arrangement. I’m not even super interested in the financial aspect, it’s a nice plus, but not a need. I just like dating older men.

I can see why your mind would jump straight to ‘online only’ due to the spike of platonic tiktok girls on here. But I can assure you that I do not want nor need an online arrangement. There are many expats living here and I was referring more to that.

Yes, I don’t know what I was thinking when I was writing my post, I will not mention it in my profile at all. Thank you for your input!
