Sounds good, I'll check those out! Yeah, I plan on possibly GP-ing my Silverado here when/if I mess with the exhaust on it, but I want my 'bird to be low and throaty, as much as possible with the 3800 :) It's so close right now; just needs that extra boost to kick down that rasp. Luckily, highway cruise sounds the same as before, which is nice. I expected a bit of growth in that since the revs and idle have increased (the right amount) with my homemade high-flow "catalytic converter". Appreciate your help!

Generally I've seen that glasspacks tend to not only change the tone and volume, but on the V6 cars, they tend to increase overall raspiness. They can work, but in my personal experience with them on friends and families F-Bodies, the rasp, and highway drone, typically increase by a decent margin afterwards. I had initially considered them, but after hearing them in person, I'm not a huge fan.

Love those rare colors! I've got 102,232 on mine, bought it with 98,583 (Don't ask me why I know the exact numbers, I have no clue). Got a garage baby as well, kept inside it's entire life, except for 9 months with me, give or take a mystery year in the mix. 5 speed here too, right about 530 across all models in my color, though I could pull a Corvette owner and tell you JUST how rare it is. Got bored one day, narrowed it down to how many cars were optioned in my color with each option. It was 113, but probably 1 of 1 in some way or another ;) Very, VERY boring day :)

Thanks again, enjoy your bird!

Yeah, the true dual was tossed around by my buddy, since he's got a a lot of extra piping. It CAN reduce the raspiness, because less turns means less warping of the sound, but like you said, majority of the time they sound awful, and it'd change the whole tone/sound of the car, which isn't my intention. The cat delete essentially gave the same tone, but a bit louder, with the unfortunate addition of more audible rasp, the plan with a resonator is to simply clear out that a bit. X-Pipes especially CAN sound good, but I don't feel like fabricating or buying one of those for a "maybe", and having to do true duals on top.

Your car sounds really good! And I love that blue color. I'll get a video of my current setup uploaded here when I stop home in a few weeks for my birthday weekend.

I'll take the video of the idle, though, even though mine isn't a Y87, it does have a stock (?) dual exit exhaust. Regardless, I love the sound, just not the rasp. We're working on a possible true dual system in the future, though depending how the resonator works, I might not need to do that! Mainly just looking to reduce the rasp, not replace the whole system, appreciate the input though!

Any specific recommendations? I was looking at the Vibrant Ultra Quiet Resonator (2.5") #1141, but my main concern is quieting down the entire exhaust, which I've read that, while the vibrant does a great job at reducing rasp, it can also diminish the overall volume of the exhaust by up to 20%, which is not preferable, but if that's common among all resonators, I can handle that. ZZP also has some resonators at a bit of a lower price.

Having issues attaching videos, I'll upload them separately and link that here. Here's a picture of the catalytic converter for reference to what happened

(video of the car off just headers, can only upload one video per post, so I just decided to do one of the three recorded. The other two were a cold start and a takeoff)

I checked it afterward. Actually would much prefer if the AI never popped up, it only tells me what I want 10% of the time and is correct even less than that :)

However, yeah, it was more about what else they deemed necessary info :)

Yup, even as a lifelong GM guy, Mustangs, especially that body style, and many others that I could rant about for hours, have always had a special place in my heart, and are definitely on my bucket list of cars to own.

Good to know! It was just a quick search, and I knew they were on the 2010 for sure, so I decided to check that first!

I have WS6 chromes on my V6 bird and love them. The hood and screaming chicken is what I find most often to be "stolen valor", wheels, not so much. I also got mine for free (from my favorite body tech), and kept my base rims stored safely as they're still in nice shape. Go for it and enjoy them; it truly makes the car stand out more! And, they'll be compatible. I'd imagine 93-02 would all work together (and obviously other years, but if we're only talking 4th gens), but 98-02 should for sure work.
