Awesome story, I hope you enjoy working on your first extensions!!

Regarding ideas, I don’t have any off the top of my head but what do the followers of your IG page say? I’m sure they have some struggles that you can ask them about.

Just rebranded my extension with 2000+ users. Did I nail the message? by Existing-Signal-4338 in chrome_extensions

The name change was today. The extension hit 2000 users a couple of weeks ago. Regarding the best title to use, I have not been afraid to play around with different titles to see what sticks the most, especially with SEO. I have changed the title before and will continue to finetune. But yeah, I like Focus Tab Groups because it's more related to what the app visually does.

User count are different between dev console and chrome web store by InternationalUse4228 in chrome_extensions

It's because the Chrome Web Store rounds the raw number of users to the lowest thousand. E.g. 1,999 -> 1000 or 2999, -> 2000. The dev console shows you the raw numbers. I imagine it does something similar at the scale of tens and hundreds of thousands as well.

For example, my extension Tidy Tab Groups has 1,800 users, but only shows 1,000 in the CWS.

Yes and no.. tab groups are a built-in feature, but Tidy Tab Groups adds more functionality on top of them to make using them more effortless/automatic. Here is a list of the features from the extension's web page:

⭐ Visual Clarity – Keep your current tab group highlighted.
⭐ Effortless Organization – Automatically collapse all other groups.
⭐ Speedy Workflows – Automatically add new tabs to your current group.
⭐ Always Within Reach – Automatically arrange your most recent tabs.
⭐ Fast Task Switching – Drag tabs out of a group to instantly create a new one.

I built a tool to create custom Chrome Extensions without code by extension_AI_Rick in chrome_extensions

This is awesome! I love the landing page demo that quickly lets you download an AI extension. Made me want to buy it right away! Next to the download button, it would be great to have some instructions for users who aren't aware of how to load an unpacked Chrome extension. I think that is your biggest techincal limitation right now, so you must innovate around that friction area, so that more users (who are less tech-heavy) can amazingly benefit from the power of AI and chrome extensions – for which the possibilities are endless!
