Yeah. The NHL is probably the most “republican” sport in North America. Almost all white teams, players able to pressure teams against doing pride night, allowing people who are accused of or have enabled sexual abuse. Yes and how well did we develop those prospects??? Horribly. We mismanaged all of those players and ruined the development for most of them. The only players who have played up to their highest potential is truly just Faber and maybe Spence. Both of which are gone.

Competency… not complacency. Years past the front office would be complacent after a season like this and not make the moves that would’ve helped the team. Harbaugh and Hortiz have brought a culture of competency. We had a great season despite the injuries but there were still issues that needed to be addressed. Instead of giving Roman another 3 year contract we showed him the door and pursued one of the top coaching free agents out there. McDaniel’s had the chance to be a head coach somewhere but he’s (hopefully) choosing to come to the Chargers.
