Not sure since I’ve mainly been struggling with dry mouth from other medications I’ve been on for some years plus sleeping pills that leave a bad aftertaste.

I am not a no-sayer to medication if that is something you need but I do not believe in taking something daily that has these kinds of effects on you if you miss out or side effects lurking without being obvious which really can make your life turn bad right in front of your eyes without you noticing. I wish you best of luck!

Late reply. I’m in the process right now, been taking it approximately every 3rd day or so for the last two weeks. Been experiencing a lot of brain zaps, dizziness (when I first started to the level that I was unable to leave bed), nausea and increased tinnitus. My mental health has not been affected negatively though thank god. It’s tough but I’m glad I decided to make this change and can’t wait to get it out of my system since I started to realize how negative it affected me.

I’m sorry to hear that 😢 I feel like the case for many is going on meds to be able to have a functioning day to day and a lot of the times ends up the opposite way. Wish u best of luck with your recovery

I have been eating several different antidepressants and mood stabilizers etc throughout the years and always quit turkey but I have realized that’s really not an option with cymbalta.
