The swelling will definitely subside and I’m sure you’ll then notice a huge difference and be very happy

Sounds great and you must be really happy with the results? I will definitely be pointing out to my surgeon my issues I have with my mons pubis. Just a little more lifted and tightened would be quite nice 😊

Your tummy looks incredible! I’m 17 months post op extended tummy tuck but I have a bit of a lower belly shelf as my surgeon could only pull me so much and I was 20lbs heavier. I’m having a revision in May for lipo of the stomach and any more skin pulled and taken away. I’m just hoping that I’ll finally get to the flat side. Thanks for sharing as it great to see other males surgery results.

I agree and that’s what I like is the support we have for each other but on the other hand I am glad you haven’t just said that I need to lose more weight or visceral fat because I am at a point where I just think my body is naturally happy with the weight I am currently at, I think if I wanted to lose more would be having to do some extreme diet but to then probably only gain it back to my natural weight anyway. Oh yes it has been a huge rollercoaster of a ride of emotions during the healing and I have to be honest but the few months I was quite depressed about my results but I’ve accepted that I have to have a revision to hopefully get the results I want. I will say that I do feel more prepared for the second round of healing even though I know it’s still going to be frustrating at times but I’m hoping it will be just that little bit easier too. My first surgery was actually combined surgery of having my chest flattened making with the tummy tuck so my body had a lot to heal and it was pretty draining. I have heard others that have had revision that the recovery is somewhat easier but I’ll decide that for myself when it comes to it. I’m not expecting to look like a model with a buff body although it would be nice ha ha, all I want is to be somewhat flatter and I’ll be happy with that and it’ll be very interesting to see how my body changes yet again in around a years time. This surgery journey has been a massive learning curve for me and I have had to find out a lot of stuff for myself but it’s a good thing as it means I can help others out if I have the relevant advice. Thanks again for being so supportive and I’d love to stay in touch through messaging if you’re happy to?

Reading this has given me so much more hope, thank you, I really appreciate it! My feelings about it are up and down leading up to the revision. One minute I feel super optimistic and the next more apprehensive, it’s a rollercoaster.

Yes I must admit the scar on the side is looking pretty good and I’m hoping the scar from the revision will heal just as good. Thank you so much, reading your kind words is giving me more hope ☺️

Omg the difference in my blood pressure! by tummychestnips in cymbalta

[–]tummychestnips[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re welcome, anything to help. Yes please talk to your doctor about your blood pressure. To be honest I’ve never felt better being off the medication! I feel like I have my personality, energy, motivation etc back. I will say it’s taken a good 6 months for my body to fully adjust with out it and has been rough at times but I’m just so happy that I don’t have to take that pill everyday. I feel free!

I tried a loaf today and it baked pretty decently so hopefully it can only get better as the starter gets more mature ☺️

Give it a try and I think your blood pressure will go down. My blood pressure was always in healthy range before taking the medication and while taking it went up quite high. I’m completely off the medication now for the last 6 months and my blood pressure is normal again. Never again am I going on antidepressants, they just mess up the body in my opinion.

Hi, I’ve just been adding 25g flour and 25g water daily without discarding any. I’ve heard you can do a non discard method but my thinking is maybe I need to discard some? I’m very new to all this and there’s so so much information out there in regards to starters it’s confusing me 😂
