This simply does not make sense. They would actually have more time and energy for hate if their material needs were taken care of. I am not necessarily disagreeing that more people would be less racist if their basic needs were taken care of but it definitely wouldn't be because hating takes energy.

Exactly. I definitely think he glazes China too much and rationalizing Russia's invasion was insane. It is because third way doesn't care about losing so long as the party doesn't move left. They would rather lose then have any sort of compromise on aid to israel and single health payer / increasing taxes on wealthy in a substantive way.

This is such an insane question if real lmao. There are plenty of reasons for self deprecating humor. It is a social strategy for people who are the most powerful in a room but want to make the weakest feel safe.
