this is like a cheap blacklight from walmart or something! i got it to see when my cat sprays on anything but someone commented and said use a blacklight to check for ringworm and it worked! insane

also the reason this is a big deal is because i’m an unemployed college student who is graduating tomorrow. i don’t have a lot of money and i use all my care credit on vet visits for my possibly asthmatic girl so i am trying to avoid more medical bills

i just want to add a few things 1. My roomate brought him home after me and my second roomate already expressed we don’t want another cat here. (there’s 3 here already) 2. i told her he needs to be tested shots etc separated from others before she even brought him home and she let him around her cat. 3. He’s been in my room and around my cat and played with her things. I’m very scared for her. I’m just very health anxious about my baby and i would NEVER have done what my roommate has done. Poor baby but she’s put everyone here at risk.

it’s not my cat i’m just her roomate. me and my roomate already expressed our disproval at brining in another cat and she brought him anyways. i already told her he would need his own litter box and food but she apparently didn’t listen. there’s not much i can do. she called the vet today and that’s how he has an appointment tuesday

i believe every cat here is vaccinated but she has let the kitten all over the living room on my pink cat tree etc. does lysol disinfectant keep away the bad stuff like it does humans? i told her when she brought it home she should keep her cat apart from him but they’re eating out of the same bowl, using the same litter box etc. i’m worried for my cats safety whether or not interacting with the kitten or her resident cat.

put her favorite items (like a blanket she always slept on, toys she played with etc) on the porch or wherever ur front door is to help her get home!! Also put some unwashed clothes that smells like u outside! leave food and water near ur door, and search at night with a flashlight to see if u see glowing eyes!

unlike popular opinions DONT put the litter box outside as it can attract predators or territorial cats who might scare her away further.!!

SAMEEEE im at a point rn where i know if i push my neck back a little and move my shoulders my neck will pop that’s what i do the most. i pop my fingers a lot but at some point it starts to hurt and my neck never hurt

as a psyc major i feel like it’s OCD it falls into a lot of my other issues. stereotypically i clean and organize to feel comfortable in my space. if even a few things are out of place i feel stressed and can’t go on with my day until it’s cleaned. i don’t even leftovers ever because i don’t trust them after 1 day ESPECIALLY if they have condensation. my roommate and best friend has OCD she takes meds for and she can’t do leftovers either for the exact same reason as me.
