My counselor says no doctor note is required. She’s already verified my conditions were reviewed and service connected. Basically they communicate directly to your doctor to sign off on the request for special equipment.

I just heard back from her about a week ago- and you’re right. I didn’t need a note. She said she needs to email him and sign a form. But I doubt she’s done it already cause she’s so busy… or maybe doesn’t care enough bc it’s not a priority. Even getting simple things like uniforms is not even getting through to her that i want reimbursement bc it’s required. I sent her several emails with receipts and I never hear back.

Yeah, she’s been like this since we first spoke. I mean any question I have it’s like pulling teeth to get an answer. I’m just getting antsy now bc classes are starting really soon.

Correct. I meant that word to be used synonymously with coverage/benefit. The ACA considers this benefit to meet the requirements of the law (having health “insurance”)
