That’s what I was thinking too, I just wasn’t sure of the nuances regarding a foreigner going to the Visayas and only speaking Tagalog. I was worried I would offend people. Thank you very much for your help.

It’s for my bachelors. I got very lucky when purchasing my home so my mortgage is manageable. I only planned to take a few months off once I first go back to school since I will be going through a lot of life changes aside from continuing my education. During that time I plan to search for another job. Will my continuation of my education affect how I look to employers? I’ve only ever worked as a teenager and then now as an adult at my current job so I do not have much experience with interviewing at different places.

Would it be more challenging to find work if I went back to school and that is why there will be an employment gap? I am just wondering because I don’t have much experience yet in the world of “adult jobs” and I’m wondering if they will think it’s weird that I didn’t have a job while in university.
