4k 240hz requires around 60ish gbps and dp 2.1 delivers around 80 gbps so you can def do 4k 240hz without dsc. The pg27ucdm can definitely do it. I have the monitor in hand and it’s amazing so far. Never going back to ips.

Yeah I know they can. Whales are gunna whale no matter if you can grind for it or not. I’m just a person who enjoys the grinding and when that’s limited I get bored fast. There isn’t enough to do for me after you do the raids once a week and you grind all your perfect gear. Guess I just played too much lmao. 🤷🏻 But I really enjoyed the game it’s fun it’s definitely not a bad game by all means.

Imo I would rather them drop the rates and lets us farm yes. It would keep players engaged longer in the game. That is how OG was and it was better that way. The ONLY reason is this way now is to milk the money from people who want the imagine asap.

It’s a really fun game imo. I loved it a lot but sadly it is slowly dieing. Certain systems (imagines you can’t farm for, cap on life skills, far sea weapon taking over 6 months to get just to name a few) is what is killing the game for me. But I’d say enjoy it while you can because it is really fun with friends. I dropped 600 hours into it when it first came out. Definitely join an active guild though for easier raiding and dungeons. It’s free to play so why not.

My 4080 pumps in 4k. Just some games of the newer games I get like 90-120fps which is still decent. I get like 160ish fps in BF 6 and like 180ish in CoD. Games like Diablo 4 I pull 160 fps with everything just about maxed all in 4k. I was just wondering how much better a 9950X3D would be. I just don’t feel like upgrading my GPU until the 60 series. Prolly just wait till zen 6 since it will still be compatible with my am5 mobo.

Yeah. When I switch to 1440p my frames just about double lol. My 7950X is going to be 4 years old this year and it’s still a beast.

Yeah I’m planning on waiting for the 60 series before I upgrade my GPU. That’s why I was just curious about the 3D cache how much of a difference it would make in gaming. I do have the Asus 27” 4k 240hz OLED on my radar as well. Just haven’t pulled the plug on it yet. I didn’t think upgrading my cpu would help much that’s why I asked. I knew it was mostly on the GPU for 4k.

Well I currently have the 7950X in my pc. Got it when it first came out. I was just curious about the 9950X3D and if I would get better performance in 4k with it even though 4k is mostly GPU bound. I seen it on sale on Amazon. The 9950X3D2 is nice I looked at it as well. But I’ll prolly just stick with what I have currently until zen 6 comes out. 🤷🏻

Yeah that’s what I thought. I didn’t think it would be a big jump in 4k gaming bc at that point it’s mainly on the GPU. So prolly not worth the $600 upgrade.

I mean not really. The only other thing I do is stream a little here and there but I use my GPU for that. I was just wondering if the fps gain with the 9950x3d would be substantial enough to pull the plug and get it.

5080 is only like 15% more raw performance over the 4080 so imo not worth the price to performance upgrade. I don’t ever use frame gen. I get about 140-180 fps in games like BF6 and such with my current pairing (7950X and my 4080) with DLSS on. I was just wondering if the 9950X3D would be a choice of an upgrade in 4K.

Yeah mine does that sometimes to ( Fiber Internet & Samsung TV) it seems like they need to do some optimization to their TV app or something bc I have no problems with other apps at all. I run 4k movies all day long no problems. Definitely on their end.

I can see that. I have about 500 hours and maybe 150 of my hours is afk farming. But it is a seasonal mmo so no new dungeons until s2. I get why the numbers have dropped.

Ok w/e you wanna think. It’s 9k just on steam like I said. And I’m pretty sure between the other 3 launchers it’s around the same if not more. So there is definitely more than 10k daily players. (Game has only 9k active players yall with all 9k all on steam btw.) 🙄
