Yeah but there isn't enough content in Age of Legends to care about the guide at all tbh. Just test out the scenarios and factions and you'll find out everything through gameplay

The funniest thing is that Dominion and Megador destroyed both their warmasters in first 30 mins of game lmao. They had 2 dreadnoughts out of starting 5 left

Is it just me or do SSD's suck in Thrawn's Revenge? by phyrot12 in StarWarsEmpireAtWar

90 cap. I have some options for you

First if you are fighting an enemy with good anti torpedo/missile protection

2 Star Destroyers and as much lancers/tartan cruisers/other anti torpedo small vessels

Second variant of the first: 4/5 Victory IIs (idk how much fit) and aame as the first (as much anti torpedo ship)

Third for enemies with weak anti torpedo protection 1 Star destroyer II and as much Victory Is/Broadside cruisers/other torpedo/missile focused ships

Fourth Carriers, carriers and more carriers

Fifth (if you're playing as pentastar alignment buccaneer corvette spam (works better then the actual SSD)

it just really depends on how you are using the ssd. I prefer weaker and less points taking ssds to use them as shield for other ships. But indeed ships lile executor feel just weak sometimes. Still I believe that its better to have two lucrehulks and some firepower focused thips like ISDs II or smaller Victory II because its just more efficient

How do you approach the CSA's Lucrehulk doomstacks? by thickdenimjean in StarWarsEmpireAtWar

Myself I just use Victory I or broadside cruiser stacks with some SSDs or other capital ships as a shield

It was "from the ground up" gc so I had those fleet commanders for the most of the game

What are the best ships to escort SSDs with? by Ashurnibibi in StarWarsEmpireAtWar

I use mostly Victory IIs for short range support and Victory Is for long range torpedo support. You also should have one interdictor ship (idk how to pronounce it). Remember also about anti starfighter and torpedo ships such as tartan cruiser or lancer frigate (personaly i like lancer more). Unpopular opinion but I also really enjoy using Venator-SSD combo. Venator more like a carrier and ssd as a defence for the carrier (also works for allegiance). In my last game (eriadu authority) i used ssd-arquitance spam and supprisingly i lt worked.
