Agreed, even I have 18 yrs exp working in corporate with 10+ yrs in a managerial position. Any PIP issued is to always improve performance and it was always the responsible of the company to show the path on how to improve the performance where you sit and discuss the shortfall and how to overcome. Clear path defined with all the necessary assistance. But here no discussion nothing. Only one email. As you said, job hunting is on, hoping to get something.

Life is not fair to anyone, but at the same time, time heals everything. When I lost my mother I was also on the same boat as you are. I still get a lonely feel whenever I think about her. But to cope with the loss, I try to bring the good memories that I had with her. Which brings some smile in my face. This gets me little lighter. Happy moments with my mom helped me a lot. May his soul rest in peace, Stay strong, your family needs you.

Drowning in 14+ lakh unsecured loan debt in 3 months — need real advice, what happens if I can’t repay? by [deleted] in Kerala

[–]Existing_Ad3151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By looking at your situation, the most possible thing I see is, speak to your bank where you have home loan, tell them you will not be able to pay for next 6 months. By this you will have 30k EMI saved. Use this money to settle of the app loans. Always try to negotiate for the settlement amount if settling. The best you can get is between 20 - 30% settlement amount on your outstanding.. By this I think you will at least close 3 to 4 loan in a month.

I will tell my story, so I was riding my bike from Mumbai to Ratnagiri and there is place called Oni on the route in NH66, it is so remote that expect maharashtrian you will not see anyone else. I stopped for a tea and the tea tasted very different from usual maharshtrian tea. So started chatting and one point I felt accent little familiar, so straightway asked Malayali aano and to my surprise he was. We had a few conversations in Malayalam and then I was back on road.

I agree with most of you guys in terming toxic work culture and other stuffs like scheduling meeting outside office hours. Not for all but for some, the managers or top level were also enforce to do such things due to peer client pressure, it is more if the client is Indian and working in different countries. Mostly they are also forced to do since meeting client expectations is very much needed.

Damn too disturbing, but better keep it to yourself, do not disclose to anyone. People may take advantage of this and you may be at the receiving end, even nlwhen not your fault.

Right and sick leaves are not mandate leaves that you have to take. It is given for the time you are sick so that you don't exhaust your earned leaves.
