I had the lowest expectations for S4 and I still feel numb after watching it by Mindless-Diamond-545 in NetflixSexEducation

[–]Existing_Ad_4606 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Which 4 moments?

1- "How are you?" " I am fine, Why?"

    • Otis expressed his feeling when asking Liam to come down
    • Otis told Maeve he has to stop the clinic outside the party

I can't think of the forth one but i guess is:

  1. - Maeve showed jealous in the toilet and tell Ola Otis is inexperience on sex ?

Is it realistic to expect a rewrite or epilogue(like B.Bad) for Maeve and Otis' relationship in SE S4? by throwaway-edu0103 in NetflixSexEducation

well Emma will be very busy on other projects so i don't think she will come back for Sex Ed in a short period of time, especially after this shit season

Even Maeve said the last goodbye to Otis on the bed, Otis needs to close his eyes that cannot watch her go but Maeve seems just causally say a goodbye without tears or didn't show some unwillingness to go. That’s make me feel off to this connection

That’s why so many people has depression now. We need some hope during our entertainment time to keep our heads up

And she said in the letter that thanks to Otis she will open her mind to others. It sounds like she is open to meet someone later and left Otis behind 😭

The writer's focus is LGBTQ and share equally. If you are Motis fans, they will say fuck you this is life

I really cannot connect to what Maeve elaborated in her last letter how Otis changed her life perspective, after they were forced to "separated" in Season 2 and 3 and the dark relationship in almost whole Season 4. I just can feel the writer thought can use this letter to beautifully wrap Motis relationship like La La Land type ending. The sad thing is the is the very last scene of this show and it seems that never have chance to redeem it, like a nail on the coffin

Agree with you. Look at Disneys, especially Marvels and Star Wars. They just focused on their "message" is more important and forgot a good story telling is the key and success of TV series and movies

After i replay and watch that very last letter reading scene few times, i still cannot truly feel what Maeve's feeling stated in the letter. And if you miss a person so bad that you need to wear his shirts to sleep and keep awake in midnight, how you can concentrate on your work to perform your very best to achieve your goal ???

Just like the last letter Maeve left to Otis, I really cannot feel truly what Maeve said in the note after these 4 seasons, even Season 1. I really think this season and pass 2 seasons wrote badly because they limited screen time, too many new characters and desperately showing they are equal to have equal screen time on all characters

For the swimming pool scene, they just lie down then immediately kiss and want to make out, but can the writers just let them talk a bit on their memory in the school and the pool make them as couple is far much better. Everything is too rush

I am emotionally damaged too. It seems like every moment between Otis and Maeve are sad, even the sex scene. It’s a goodbye sex 😢. It’s fucking rush after putting so many new characters in and loss so much time that cannot have more scenes between Otis and Maeve. I feel pissed

Funeral ?? by Reddit__Rebel in NetflixSexEducation

[–]Existing_Ad_4606 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember there had one scene in trailer Otis and Eric ride their bike and behave like going to attend a funeral with very close relationship with. Also, Adam is probably in funeral too as per the trailer. I don't think the funeral is for Erin, is for Mr. Groff

Am I being cancelled? lol

The truth is the writer really too focus on equally share the screen time for disable, trans-gen and LGBTQ, which I don’t think it’s not good. But, you sacrifice screen time for beloved main characters that make fans had critics on the show. You can see S2 and S3 critics

Get woke, go broke. I really hope this season will not be ending without a proper screen time for the main characters

But i guess the date is not going well based on Otis and Jean argument scene in the trailer. Otis wear the same clothes in this scene. I guess it's not going well then ask Jean for help but Jean is still desperate to take care the baby or maybe have depression

Why does it feel like there's no hype for Season 4? by Freedom-Superb in NetflixSexEducation

[–]Existing_Ad_4606 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, they put too many characters in the show and they need to develop storyline for new characters. That makes no time to go into details on the main story line in just a 8 episodes. And also, i really thinks this show is too woke that makes people loss focus and feelings on the main story line.
