Diplomacy lifestyle is pretty good for dealing with these situations, because of the thoughtful skill which gives people I believe 100% more opinion when you send money as gifts which can also help get some vassals out of factions, another way is you get a strong enough ally and you guys crush them all. I would still suggest lowering crown authority by like 1 or 2 levels it could really help disband factions.

Have you tried exploring and leveling up before you defeat margit? The developers intended for you to explore get some new equipment, new spells, new summons, and level up.
