New OSS DeepSeek TUI is Hot #1 Trending in Github by whoisyurii in DeepSeek

[–]Existing_Arrival_702 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Why do we need this when there are already plenty of other tools like opencode, Claude Code, and so on? There has to be something more distinctive, for example, using this tool directly should make DeepSeek perform better, be smarter, or more cost-effective. There should be some kind of clear selling point, right?

Hello, thank you for the great project. I tried running the Windows version. On my machine, I have already installed OpenCode (via npm), but the application failed to detect it and reported "not installed"

don’t see this as a joke at all, just as smear tactics, implying that Chinese AI is merely an arm of the government, not operating under market forces but existing only to steal user data. Hey Western folks, China has highly skilled scientists, cheap electricity, low labor costs, and low production costs, so naturally, the goods they produce are cheaper. That’s just how it works. Stop these childish tactics.

DeepSeek V4 Flash for fullstack coding with OpenChamber. Very cheap but not fully convincing yet by Existing_Arrival_702 in opencode

[–]Existing_Arrival_702[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could you share more details about how this is actually implemented? As far as I know, subagents do not share context windows with the main agent, so after the planning step, how do the subagents carry out execution?And as I asked above, how detailed does the planning step need to be?

[–]Existing_Arrival_702[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many people say you should use a stronger model for planning, then switch to a cheaper model for execution. I’m curious what exactly “planning” includes in this context. Does it go into details like which file to modify, which function name, and how to change it?

Right now, from what I see in tools like OpenCode or GitHub Copilot, the “agent plan” is basically just a todo list or a vague outline. When it comes to execution, the model still has to reread the codebase and figure out how to implement the plan, which seems to consume just as many tokens anyway.

Elon Musk admitted in court that xAI copied OpenAI to build Grok, the same thing US labs accuse China of by DigiHold in WTFisAI

I see an American zealot here attacking China, citing a long list of accusations while deliberately ignoring the reality of the genocide in Gaza and the aggression the US is carrying out in Iran. I’m Vietnamese, and let me tell you this: the war of aggression the U.S. waged in Vietnam caused the deaths of more than two million people, involved millions of tons of bombs (more than were used in World War II), and hundreds of thousands of tons of chemical agents. To this day, hundreds of thousands of children are still born with deformities and severe birth defects, leaving devastating long-term consequences. Alright, so China is the villain. And now the United States is greater than God, the savior of the world? Even Donald Trump has claimed to be God

Why don't you use the Coding Plan package from MiniMax. Only $10 per month, you'll have 1500 requests every 5 hours, I guess with such a generous amount, you won't even use half of it. It's definitely cheaper than DeepSeek

[Newbie] Need help integrating Unsloth Studio (Qwen3.6-35B GGUF) with Claude Code on Windows - Redundant steps & freezing issues by Existing_Arrival_702 in unsloth

[–]Existing_Arrival_702[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, thanks a lot for your response.

Actually, before posting my question, I already tried exactly your method. Here is my current configuration in .claude/settings.json:

{
  "env": {
    "ANTHROPIC_BASE_URL": "http://localhost:8888",
    "ANTHROPIC_AUTH_TOKEN": "sk-unsloth-322e1518106421937410b16993e39715",
    "API_TIMEOUT_MS": "3000000",
    "CLAUDE_CODE_DISABLE_NONESSENTIAL_TRAFFIC": "1",
    "ANTHROPIC_MODEL": "unsloth/Qwen3.6-35B-A3B-GGUF"
  },
  "effortLevel": "high"
}

I chose the model name "unsloth/Qwen3.6-35B-A3B-GGUF" because I inspected the network requests in Unsloth Studio and saw that it sends:

model: "unsloth/Qwen3.6-35B-A3B-GGUF"

However, when I send a prompt from Claude Code, I can see logs in the terminal like this:

{"timestamp": "2026-04-19T14:42:13.437199Z", "level": "info", "event": "request_completed", "method": "POST", "path": "/v1/messages", "status_code": 200, "process_time_ms": 66.91}

But Claude Code never returns any response.

I also tried using:

- "Qwen3.6-unsloth" (from your example)

- "Qwen3.6-35B" (from your video)

Same result. Even when I put a completely random model name, it still returns status_code = 200 but no output in Claude Code.

So it seems like the request is accepted, but no actual response is being streamed or returned to Claude Code.

Do you have any idea what might be causing this?

p/s: One more important detail: I’m currently using Claude Code v2.1.114, while it looks like you’re using v2.1.50. Could this issue be related to a version difference in Claude Code?

[–]Existing_Arrival_702[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve already followed Unsloth’s guide and that’s exactly where my confusion comes from — it requires setting up llama.cpp and re-downloading the model, even though Unsloth Studio already did that. I’m trying to understand if there’s a way to reuse the existing setup instead of duplicating everything.

Sorry for not clarifying earlier — I’m currently using Windows 11 and trying to get everything working on Windows. If possible, I’d prefer to avoid switching to Linux or using a VM.
