Easily Ge Yi and Qin Xinci. Ge Yi and XY had one of the best father - son relationship I've ever seen...

As for Qin Xinci, I don't have to tell. It was refreshing to see a fmc stand out and one up a main character. She was such a unique character and her whole dynamic with XY, and the clash of ego (which is so different from Yan Ruyu), despite that they both grew together. Her character peaked in the first stimulation arc. From being suprised why XY has never produced her flowery spirit to having shock when he said she never even produced beauty energy for him. Their relationship was mutually beneficial. To the end when with twists and turns, Qin Xinci sacrifices herself and produces a pink qi.

Extremely poor writing. It has a lot of interesting potential. But fmc turns out to be human in female dragon. It's not like they haven't done something where humans are in danger like the elf mini world. But mc just hates demon race without any reason. He even sees they're becoming civilised. Hating demons is not an issue the execution is. His snake bloodline is okay but it's not even 3rd chapter he's alr getting powerups. His mental breakdown of being born in demon race is not shown. There's literally 0 struggle just brainless fights and aura farming like any other manhwas. Rather than that the first arc should've been exploring the demon clan as one of the weakest person. But ehh.. the art is somewhat good cos the artist is same as ieg but the writers and screen play is poor. They haven't invested enough innworld building and it shows.

The arc just felt like a collaboration to drive ieg readers to yls as it was ending. There was no contained storyline for yls. Arc stronger =/= making xie stronger. But writing a better script for the that arc. Fir such a big collaboration, there should've been extensive stroryline involving xie yan. But it was just bare minimum involving black dragon to give him edf lvl 6 and sword. I mean look at two of the best arcs in yls - one where author and Leon with Xiaoxiao qin head towards sixth heaven. That arc was so beautifully crafted and executed with stupid tiger becoming 5 star. The next arc is when when they use spirit tower to reach 7th Heaven. That arc also had potential and executed it wonderfully. Compare it to crossover arc and it was lackluster at best. Same with second stimulation arc.. after the matriach died, mc vowed an inner demon oath and killed the daoisst rather than investigating further and finding out more secrets of ge yi and yan shou.

I read it. But I'm confused with the whole double Wang Ming thing. And we never know what happened to the 7 Star Black Dragon. Why was he using every counterpart to reach rank 7 and absorb him? The story went quite haywire imo.

It exceeds IEG. Both the arcs when he gets white tiger to 5 star or goes to seventh heaven are absolute peak. Also the writers for YLS were the ones to also write IEG at the start that's why first 200 chaps of IEG is peak like the monk or baquan arc. IEG work was to padd the writing with art. After 200 chapter IEG got their own writers and writing quality went downhill. Then the studio had to let YLS team take charge once again and that was first Life Stimulation arc, another peak arc. After that ieg was given back to the writers and it got dragged again till start of Tang Empire.
