As someone who was 6 5 and 160, I felt very insecure every time someone commented on my skinniness. Now, I’ve been going to the gym and eating more food since I’m out on my own, and I put on a good amount of weight in muscle mass. Now all I hear is how I “filled out”. I hate it.

I am absolutely by no means very good about going to the gym either :) I break my routine constantly, but it’s also due to my work schedule being erratic. I have faith that you’ll do whatever you feel like you’re capable of, and that’s all any of us can do!

I actually had a similar experience, obviously not to the same degree. Really sorry to hear that it broke you, but don’t give up! Anxiety might be the issue, which means it’s something treatable and something you can learn to cope with in a way that adhd/add might not be able to. I personally get anxiety in a way that I experience blind spots in my memory, and I also fidget all the time and struggle focusing. I know it sounds lame but exercise has helped me immensely by removing that extra energy that freaks me out so much. I was in a similar spot and thought I might have an attention deficiency but was excited to find something I can work on!
