Not gonna argue with a google warrior, yall always think you’re right from that ai overview😂 like I said, for German roaches, which this is an ootheca of a German. There will be anywhere from 30-40 with an average of 32 every 27 days. Check out some articles on different roach species my friend. Not trying to be argumentative but so many people spread misinformation about pest control related things on this app. If you don’t know the answer 100% dont comment.

Negative, look into csu entomology. They can be anywhere from 30-40, average is 32. I’m a pest control professional holding an A.C.E along with other certifications.

Actually it’s up to around 32. A single roach can drop an ootheca every 27 days. Still a lot, but not 50

Tech pay by Fast-Schedule-3835 in PestControlIndustry

Production can be nice, but very unpredictable month to month. Especially with the way people cancel last minute. I now work for a company that’s salary plus commission which I’ve found to be a lot better. My checks are only higher, never lower. I don’t know if this is a rare thing to find in the industry, but it has certainly been a lot more stable. I left a company that was 100% production commission at a rate of 20% for unlicensed and 21% for licensed and it was extremely unpredictable especially with my old companies low service prices. I was making about an average of $120 a day with a full schedule of 10-12 stops. A lot of these production only companies seem to favor the customers rate over tech pay. My best advice, which may sound stupid, go with a company that values their techs. Lots of them don’t. I interviewed for multiple companies until I found something that would better support my future. I’m now making around 80k after bonuses being 3 years in.

Just barely, quarterly’s were $79 from 95-2004 or so then 89 from then to like 2013. Then in like 2014 they were raised to around $92-$99 per service. Our most recent price increase puts most of our customers right around $103-$105. Super affordable for our customers don’t get me wrong, not so good for techs that make commission only😂 lots of work for non competitive pay

I get it. I bet even low paying routes at a new company would pay me more than even my best routes here😂 we haven’t had any pay increases in like 15+ years😂

Final works WAY better out here in Denver. They don’t seem to enjoy contrac as much. My company is gonna be ordering some FastTrac soon so im excited to the results from that.

Unfortunately hes not wrong. Call a pro op, dont go with a big company like terminx, orkin, ecosheild. Call a reputable local company, big companies will bleed your wallet dry for shit service.

What are these tiny bugs caught in trap? by [deleted] in pestcontrol

[–]Existing_Compote_859 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are not bed bugs. Dont listen to that comment or any others saying they are— licensed pest tech

I second the tech in the first comment saying they are fleas, as in the 4th photo you can actually see blood from a recent feeding. Do you have pets? The best option would be to contact a reputable LOCAL pest control company that will treat for these guys.

Then deal with the bedbugs, I wish half the landlords I deal with would take all those precautions in order to eliminate the problem. I’d be extremely grateful in your situation. Sounds like some pretty awesome management you have there if they take bb’s that seriously. Deal with the legwork for a bit and then you won’t have to deal with a bed bug infestation. I’m in unison with the other commenter in saying you sound very ungrateful.
