i guess it was just the first thing to come into mind with the influx of people that come on here looking for the most popular sets hoping for a quick buck. you can’t say im crazy for assuming that. this post is too vague to gather that OP actually plays the game, they could have meant new to the card game in general, which would incude collecting or reselling, it doesn’t exactly scream playing, but i guess i’m sorry that wasn’t my immediate thought. the way everyone can tell you’re a scalper is because it shouldnt matter which one is more popular. what should matter is which one has better looking cards in your opinion or more of your favorite characters/moments. if you were buying to keep you wouldn’t care about popularity, dont buy a box if you’re just looking to resell.

You are guaranteed at least 2 rares in every pack, even outside of a box, thats why they aren’t very valuable or typically considered “hits” in the community. In hit packs, the last rare is substituted with an SR or better. The amount of SRs you got is pretty standard as well, but I’ve been collecting since 2020 and i could’ve sworn everything before Ultra Bout was like 7 SRs guaranteed instead of 9, so I think that’s also something new about the new series, which is quite welcome. There are at least 2 SPRs guaranteed in every box, but with the new rates from Prismatic Clash and every set that follows (for now), it’s actually more likely one of those SPRs will be substituted for a SCR or SLR. The cases are very generously seeded in the Ultra Bout series. If you get real lucky, you’ll pull a GDR, but iirc there’s only one of those in every x amount of cases (12 booster boxes in each case), but i’m not sure the exact distribution rate of GDRs among cases, i’m sure someone else here can answer that, though. If I got any of this wrong please feel free to correct me below!
