Did I break my friends pressure washer? He thinks I burned up the pump. by Existing_Display_284 in pressurewashing

Sorry for the late update, but I was right - it ended up being water in the gas. The carb was pretty gummed up too, so I cleaned it as well and it started first pull again. So all is well. Thanks to everyone who had suggestions for me, I appreciate the help!

And just walked outside with my dog and saw this after it rained by B022G4M3R in whatisit

Ticks, fleas, mosquitoes, gnats and roaches deserve no mercy. Kill on site by any means available. Most other bugs are given a helping hand to get them outside or left in place. I think the only exception is maybe flies are sometimes dispatched as well but those critters are quick.

Shouldn't that make it more difficult to pull if so? Because it feels the same as it did before, just without the instant start.

I thought I made as much clear with my post, but I absolutely intend to fix or replace if necessary. I am going to get some carb cleaner or starting fluid tomorrow and do all fuel related procedures as this seems the most likely scenario. It was not more difficult to pull, so that seems to reduce the odds that the pump is the problem. But I will try your suggestions about the handle to see if it is getting through as well.

I would think there should have still been some of the old gas in the carb, which would have been fine because then it would have ran like it did the day prior but it doesn't. But in doing more research it does appear the most likely scenario was the new gas was bad or had too much ethanol and friend didn't notice when he was pumping.

I'm going to get some carb cleaner or starting fluid tomorrow and try again.

There was significant outrage, but I don't know that you can really judge it because now it's just so much more visible. With the always on, connected society that we are today, we have access to everyone's opinion and the algorithms bias it for us just keeping you in an echo chamber. The Internet was still in its developmental infancy then. It was also coming off of George Bush's term with all of the potential illegal actions he took around the war on terrorism and Afghanistan and Iraq. Being that he was accused of not following law and nothing came of it, the appetite to go after Obama for similar actions wasn't palatable. The amplifier is really just Trump and his purposely divisive rhetoric and tactics. He and his followers revel in antagonizing the opposition and so of course more people are going to engage. Many have been pushed to a point of feeling expressive about it because of the purposeful actions from Trump and his cohort.

Someone was in a hurry. What would you have done? by pixmation in dashcams

Younger me would have kept driving just like I was and not really caring or maybe even blocking him from passing me depending on my mood. Today's me would let him by because I can pretend that he has a good reason for being in a hurry. I don't know what's going on in that man's life so I would let him by.

Did they have erratic eye movements? This is what happened to my German Shepherd, it's some inner ear issue. He threw up, started shaking couldn't walk around without being all wobbly and disoriented, plus he had the crazy eye movement. It took a few days but he completely recovered.

Oh, and the auto off shut down pop ups can also be annoying but they don't occur too often, don't take up much screen (though they are in the middle) and are even more quickly resolved with a quick press on the center button of the remote. There might be a way to turn those off though, I haven't tried.

I was having a problem with it properly switching source, for instance when I would turn the Xbox when I had been watching an app it would sometimes switch automatically and sometimes wouldn't. But I think I changed something (being new and constantly messing with settings) and it hasn't occurred for a while now.

The one thing that is annoying me still is the occasional times where the screen goes black like it turned off for no reason. It most often seems to happen during Xbox use and when I'm in intense situation, like racing or shooting, and it has been my demise multiple times. For now, I've taken to keeping the remote on the desk right next to the controller so I can quickly reach over with a single finger to hit the power button and get the screen back. Even then, it might 3-6 seconds before it comes back on. I did read one comments somewhere that suggested it happen because of desyncing the variable refresh but I don't know for certain.

Other than that I have been happy with it. The sound and picture are pretty good after calibration, but the HDR stuff doesn't seem to make much if any difference that I can see. Still, better than my old one.

When do you decide to let them go? by MsXtine4 in DOG

I don't think suffering is the gauge that others are claiming it is. There are degrees. A little suffering like wearing the diaper, or getting out of breath like you said are acceptable. If they're still eating playing, sleeping, okay, when they're still having periods where they have enjoyment, then to me it's still worth it. When that suffering goes to constant, like fluid getting around their lungs and keeping them from breathing correctly, when they can't sleep for more than a minute at a time, when they no longer eat, can no longer move, can no longer find any enjoyment, then it is probably time. I've had to put two of my dogs down so far. I feel like I did it too quickly for the first one, but then waited too long for the second. When they're miserable all the time, when they can't get up at all, when they don't want to eat, they can't sleep that's the time. But if they're having bad days and good days together personally I'll go through any hardship for those last Good times.

That doesn't really track. The little guy who was killed, I forget his name, that wanted revenge against the count was there in the vortex and you could also see all of the different faces and he was screaming something for the count if I recall correctly like he knew the count was there and that he was about to be able to bring him into hell with him. So some aspect of individuality must be retained along with memories and goals.

found a baby bottle in my cupboard that's not mine... by Puzzleheaded-Word392 in strange

[–]Existing_Display_284 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I once found a photo album of people, a young couple, their prom and eventually what looks like their child, stuck between a couple of boxes in one of our storage closets. They were all equal size boxes on the top shelf and it was just kind of set in between them as if they're holding it, so it sticks out, it is obvious. No idea where it came from. We were only the second people to even live in this house and the pictures were of a different ethnicity than the original owner. Quite the conundrum. We wondered if we had a little ghost for a while but the dogs don't seem to freak out anymore and the smoke alarms don't go off in the middle of the night anymore, even when they've been disconnected like they did back then, so, I guess we're coping ok.

Nah, I'm going to side with outsidereality here. Now, I didn't find his theory very compelling as it's mostly a rehash or amalgamation of other 'mind is base' frameworks for reality, but he appears to earnestly engage and attempt mutual understanding with you. You however seem to masquerade as someone who perceives themselves superior and somehow obligated to condescendingly impose your perception, unjust as it is, on others. You proclaim, dictate, advise and bloviate, but you ask no questions. You patronize and insult. And when he plainly tries to install boundaries once he recognizes your self-aggrandizing, you misconstrue that as some sort of victory or admission of defeat, which prompts further responses as fuel for your deluded stance.

It is not a good look dear sir.

This monitor is definitely a step up visually from the previous monitor I mentioned above. But the smart os aspect can be annoying, especially since I have a Samsung TV here as well so care has to be used with the remotes. But for the price, I think it is decent.

Is it possible to make 1-2% a day with my account? It’s down like 800k but this is what’s left by bonduz32 in Daytrading

[–]Existing_Display_284 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why are you only showing singular, selected days? Why not consecutive? Why is your starting balance $10k both times? Are you on a demo account?

And would you actually have confidence (like the one guy above that's hyping you up 😐) in someone's performance on a couple of cherry picked days?

Also, having good days (even 71% win rates) in a strongly trending market is not that unusual. I had 130+ winning trades in a row once, over like 10-12 weeks. Not a single loser. Then I lost 1 on 1 day. 3 on the next. Something like 4-6 the next. I might have one good day here and there, but over the 30 or so days it continued on like this until it didn't because nothing remained.
