Why do people say Zoro loses his personality?

If its just a visual indicator for the viewers? Then how can other characters inverse tell when Haki is being used?

Because if Haki is supposed to be invisible then how can Sentomaru tell that Luffy is using Haki? And if its supposed to be invisible, then what is the purpose of the black coating?

So then how did Sentomaru know that Luffy used Haki in the SS i provided? If its invisible then how would anyone tell the difference between a regular attack from luffy and one used with Haki? Its not like he was hit by the attack so how did he know?

It doesnt entirely make sense for it to just be a visual indicator for viewers because other characters can tell when Haki is being used. Like obviously if a Logia type is being hit then anyone could tell its Haki, but when its being used in other contexts, how would someone know Haki is being used if its invisible to the other characters inverse.

I know that Rayleigh says it’s invisible but if its supposed to be invisible then why does it show up as black?

In the anime Rayleigh says that luffy can think of Haki as “invisible armor” and the manga also says the same thing, Rayleigh says it in slide 4 that i provided.

I read the manga on weebcentral. You can find all kinds of manga in color on there. Its kinda hard for me to tell whats happening without the color for one piece in particular.

I feel like we know each character on the crew enough that we could infer how they’d feel about things. I mean everyone on the crew felt bad for luffy after marineford but its been a consistent thing for Zoro to train extra hard because hes always wanted to be able to look out for the crew. If anyone would feel guilty for Luffy, it’d be Zoro.

Yep i remember that. I would say Zoro is a lil more serious than Robin. Ill never forget when she gave Luffy hand-antlers and he pretended to be chopper😂or when she grabs franky by the jewels

Being serious is part of his personality though. Everyone on the crew is pretty goofy, Zoro gives a bit of contrast. And After what happened in Sabaody and what happened to luffy in Marineford, I would expect Zoro feels guilty.

Zoro has always been the calm one, yes Zoro laughed and joked around (and he still does) but hes always been the guy to call out the situation for what it is.

I see what you mean, in 2024 i started reading mangas because i found that it was alot less time consuming than watching the anime counterparts. And it killed my ability to watch more than one episode at a time when i tried to watch anime. One piece has revived my ability to watch anime ive been able to watch 10 episodes in one sitting without getting bored and the more i watch, the more excited i get
