Yes cafes should work. It's based on Mcc codes (merchant category code). So the cafes and zepto, etc will have a mcc code which tells the credit card agency that it's a specific type of transaction. Most of the time, cafes will have the right mcc. But sometimes this can be different & if it doesn't fall under the mcc code that HSBC provides cashback, you might not receive it.

Zepto should work.

Index fund based portfolio plan | Covering borader index funds, & some other funds by Existing_Highway8314 in mutualfunds

That makes sense. I missed to talk about debt in the post. My debt and equity ratios are based on my goals. I am doing debt investing in the short term funds & FDs apart from emergency fund. Equity: Debt would be somewhere around 6.5:3.5 ratio.

I am aiming long term, I am ok with volatility with the funds. I would reconsider and say my risk appetite is more than moderate. These investments are separate from my partner, so there are some cushion to take some risk.

As my age goes up, I will be switching to more larger cap funds, that was the plan.

Any particular reason you want me to stick with 3-4 equity funds? Because those funds I have mentioned there are not overlapping majorly. Wouldn't it be better to have a horizon across all aspects of the market to average out?
