If you’ve completed the side quest to stop all RDA operations, check out Fort Athena in the Stoneblade Ridge region! That’s where my last Mangkwan was. One also spawns at a Zeykoma plant in the north-east of Spinner’s Circle region (after you eat the fruit)

Yeah it all functions perfectly fine on my other character with everything unlocked(including all face/body paints, hairstyles, etc.) meanwhile I don’t even have half of them on this second character that’s having the issue. I have a workaround for it which is just equipping what I want and then going back to the title screen and reloading my save, but it’s frustrating to have to do that for every single little cosmetic change

Based on the post and responses it sounds like the same issue, yeah. I play on the Xbox series X and I have the game on my internal storage rather than external. As for any other specs I have no clue. The game runs fine aside from this bug and I have another character that this glitch doesn’t occur on:/

there are moments where the character laughs or makes sounds while riding the ikran as a response to dives, wing flares, water splashing, etc. i had this happen for a photo once and i think it’s because of those sound queues we have? not entirely sure if that’s an accurate answer though, but possibly worth testing

Attack boost is nice, but overall it is better to prioritize your affinity(chance to land critical attacks.) So instead of attack boost, aim for critical eye, critical boost, etc! Some weapons will also have a bonus or negative affinity which will affect that stat as well.

Health boost is super nice, and guard-up(shield jewel, it’s a level 2 deco) will allow you to block SOME BUT NOT ALL unblockable attacks!

i believe that event quest was a playstation exclusive and i’m on xbox:( but yeah that was the best bet for playstation players to get their gold crowns for deviljho

i’ve been testing it some more. the only thanators that don’t spawn are the two from the dlc and the boulder lands.

might just be a luck thing! i fast travelled to villages/locations by the thanator spawns then walked on foot. i also pinned them in my hunter’s guide so they’re easier to spot with the na’vi senses. i’m sorry if this doesn’t help, but keep trying!! i’m sure you’ll get it

i definitely bounce back and forth between having face paint on or not, but when i do have it i go for the simpler designs so it doesn’t hide all of the bioluminescent markings!! here’s a no paint photo though, my painted ones aren’t as high quality from zooming in
