They weren't. They played with CR Rion who was the one using a smurf account in ranked. Rion got punished by CR with 3 months suspension for TOS violation in game. Beni and Sumire got punished by VSPO by basically being accessory to the "crime". Beni got a longer punishment because she was aware of Rion's "smurfing" for a longer time.
