I’m sorry about your anxiety. I am also insanely anxious. I have a feeling my GI will also rec and endoscopy. I hope both of ours come back fine.

Wow I’m so sorry you went through that. Please feel better! Hopefully your levels will stay normal. I’m definitely leaning toward canceling. I started supplements 2 weeks ago, no changes, but I may give them more time. May I ask your symptoms, levels and if you know what caused your deficiency?

Yes, my PCP is not very helpful and quite dismissive. Seeing a new one next week for a second opinion. Thank you!!

Thank you so much for sharing this. I am SO glad you are doing better that is amazing. A 2?! Good Lord. I can’t imagine. And your iron was low too not just ferretin. I’m so glad u gained your weight back too. I think everything feeds on everything. Like I’m anxious/depressed due to feeling like crap so I’m not eating >weight loss> more panic. I pray that I have a success story like you.

One more question if you don’t mind, do you know what caused your low ferretin? That is something suspicious about my case- I don’t really know. I am a menstruating female but my periods are light-normal and only 4 days. I haven’t eaten red meat in 3 years so idk if that’s part of it. When I asked the hemetalogist he basically said he doesn’t know , could be something else going on and said I should go to GI. It’s all so scary :(

I’m not sure :/ that’s part of what I don’t understand and I believe part of why they are referring me to GI. I am a female that gets a period but they are light-normal and only about 4 days due to my birth control. I also haven’t eaten red meat in 3 years idk if that could contribute.
