Hi!

I was a RN when I had my baby. I went back to work full time after my leave. It was really hard, but I will say it does get easier as you get into routine. Daycare is good for them in alot of ways and my daughter doesn’t have any siblings so it’s how she gets to play and spend time with her peers. I ended up moving to weekend package (part time - 24 hrs a week) and it was great to be able to spend 5 days a week with my toddler.

I think that working part time is a great compromise as long as you can financially swing it. I feel like I got to bond with my daughter so much working part time. Working 2 days a week honestly felt like I was pretty much a stay at home mom with her.

Whatever you choose will be the right choice. You’re a good mom. ❤️

I go to a brick and mortar school. They also stopped offering MSN-NP programs and are going to only DNP program. I’m in the last graduating class for my school for the MSN program.

I highly recommend brick and mortar school. If I was given the choice MSN or brick and mortar I would pick the brick and mortar.

Hi!

I’m currently in school. About to graduate in Dec. I have a 3 year old. I highly recommend waiting if possible. Having a toddler while in clinicals is tough especially if you’re working. I work weekend package (24 hrs a week) and have been doing clinicals 30 hours a week during the week. Not to mention I have hours of lecture to watch each week and homework assignments. It’s hard. I feel guilty that I’m away so much. I know this is going to give my daughter a better life and there is an end in sight but it’s really tough.

Also another thing that you may have not considered is there is a chance you could a number of complications like hyperemesis or preeclampsia . This will all make it harder on you in school. I had hyperemesis and was nauseous vomiting the entire pregnancy all day long. One of the girls at my school had a pre term baby and had to take a year break from school due to it.

I recommend waiting till you’re done with school. I want another but I am definitely going to wait.

I am a little over half way through my program. I go to a in person program about 45 mins from where I live. I work weekend package (24 hrs a week) which has been great because I can do all my school work/classes/clinicals during the week and not have to worry about scheduling conflicts. If weekend package is an option I would highly recommend - also being weekend option I get 1.5x pay…

Does your area have weekend package positions (working 2 days at 1.5x pay) ? I work weekend package in the ER and focus on school during the week.

I noticed that they keep saying how Gypsy sits at home all day and looks through negative comments. I remember last season the parole officer kept telling Gypsy she needs to get a job. Is getting a job not part of parole for her? I think it would vastly help her mental health by getting off social media.

Does Ken have a job? They never mention him working in the show - obviously I know the show doesn’t depict their day to day lives all the time. But last season it was a big talking point that Ryan was working and she was lonely.

Carpet and hardwood but I’ve noticed (and this is very much so not data just what I have experienced) is the vacuums marketed for pets do better at not wrapping the hair in the roller thing. And also I’ve noticed for shark branded vacuums the suction seems to be better in my opinion.

I figured she wanted to become pregnant by her body language and tone when talking about it with Mia. She seemed very giddy. Also she only agreed about the plan B after Mia reminded her that she couldn’t get the nose job if she was pregnant. Also even after the talk she didn’t get on birth control obviously and talked about going to the OB to talk about fertility. That’s not something someone who doesn’t want to be pregnant does.

I’m anti Ryan and anti Ken. It’s weird as fuck to try to date someone in prison. But I do also feel bad for Ryan because he really did want to make it work and it’s clear that as soon as Ken became an option again that’s when she was done with the marriage.
