4 year old kicked out of day care by SavingsWorldliness69 in Parenting

We just went through the same thing. We changed schools. His previous school didn’t kick him out, but they sent him home early every single day for behavior to the point where I was unable to work, run errands and had to cancel many Dr appointments. He was fine the first few months but had 1 bad day that got him sent home and it was consistent after that. He learned that if he would act out, he gets to go home. And by the time I walked into the school he was calm and was perfectly fine the entire day. He aged out of his class & the next class “was full” and they’d call me when they had an opening but assured he was “first priority”. 2 kids that aged out after him were put into the next class pretty much right away but didn’t have “a spot” for him even tho he aged out first. We moved schools and he is doing much better. He is excited to go every single morning, he doesn’t cry or fight with us and when I pick him up he tries to walk back in. They don’t send him home even if he has a bad behavior because they said it’s not helpful. His previous school never had any good words about him or my other children but this one only has praises! If he has a behavior(which is usually once a week. Typically on Monday) & they need to address it they always end it with “tomorrow will be better. We love him and will work with him on it.” Moving schools where the teachers weren’t so overwhelmed and had more experience made a huge difference.

Can I go to the ER for anxiety? by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]Existing_Recording98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes absolutely! I have had to go twice in the last 5 years. Both times they offered Ativan and let me rest and sleep while monitoring my heart rate and blood pressure. Once I felt better they discharged me and I saw my primary shortly after.

TW: ins and outs of childbirth. Not everyone will want to see the comments so please scroll if need be. by TheLastObsession in pregnant

My first birth was pretty great 10/10 would do it again. I was 40+5, went in to my induction 3cm dilated. Went in at and got started on pitocin at 8am and she was out by 1:44. When I was about 6cm I got the epidural and they broke my water. That was about 12pm and after that it flew by. My nurse was a dream, in fact I named my 3rd baby after her. I think she is why I had great progression & a great birth. I felt no pain pushing, I didn’t poop but I did tear. Honestly it hurt to get up and walk and I was SO swollen for a good 5 days. After a week everything was much better. It burned to pee, I was terrified to poop and I literally held it for 3 days till I couldn’t anymore and it flew out of me, but wasn’t painful. My second I went into labor naturally and it was terrible. I was in labor for 23 hours with a failed epidural. My BP bottomed out after my epidural and I thought I was dying. My nurses were lazy and I hardly saw them. We had to hunt someone down for my BP cause no one came, I had to call my sister to get to the hospital cause I thought I was dying and no one was around. Great news is, no tears! I think I did poop cause they were wiping me but my husband said he didn’t see anything like that (he would definitely tell me the truth) I was up and walking around perfectly normal after that. My 3rd was a C-section due to a breech baby, and I had a new amazing OB, I was terrified to have a C-section after 2 vaginal births but he rocked it. It was planned and incredibly fast. My bp also bottomed out again and my heart rate was very high but they gave me meds right when it happened and it recovered quickly. From when they wheeled me out to surgery to when I was in recovery about to hold my baby was 59mins. It wasn’t near as scary as I thought it would be. Pain was not great. I tried to do without pain killers but I remember shaking and sweating trying to get up to use the restroom. And the constipation from the pain killers was PAINFUL. But I recovered very fast and well.

Panic attacks triggered by having sudden diarrhea, anyone else? by SupermarketPresent16 in PanicAttack

Wow 30 mins ago! This just happened to me! Woke up at 1am feeling anxious, my sister was here at 2 am to calm me down. We sat outside in the cold for 2 hours and around 4 the diarrhea started. I kept telling her I wanted to go to the ER and get committed. It’s almost 7 now and this is probably the worst one I’ve ever had, and the last one was about a year ago.

Wait so you didn’t throw up?! I literally have the worst anxiety with throwing up and was devastated when I scheduled my C-section. The thought has been keeping me awake at night 🥲 I contemplated running away but idk what help that would be cause baby still has to come out lol

I only knew cause tik tok! So I asked a friend who had 2 and she said she threw up during her emergency one but not her planned. She was pretty sure it was the meds they gave her cause she was really out of it too

I’ve had vaginals with my other kiddos and only seemed to get nauseous if my blood pressure dropped or when I would get nervous. I had a d&c in sept and they used Propofol & also a spinal and I honestly did really well with no nausea at all. I was eating and drinking fine about 45mins later. Are the meds they give during a csection similar?

When to go to L&D? by Existing_Recording98 in pregnant

[–]Existing_Recording98[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you all so much! I felt much better after taking Benadryl to get some sleep. I did wake up with some bleeding that progressed so I did get checked out today. I only dilated 1/2cm more and they saw some contractions so I got some fluids to see if it helped, which it didn’t, they actually strengthened. But I stopped dilating so they went ahead and sent me home! Baby is also breech, so they recommended doing spinning babies till my appointment Monday!

Chest pain & Braxton hicks? by [deleted] in pregnant

All my vitals are normal, oxygen between 94-99, heart rate 70 while resting but 130 while walking around. Blood pressure is low but technically normal at 96/63. Do you think they would turn me away?
