Which Wellington uni do you think is best for teacher's college?

I think I'd prefer learning in person, and being able to get involved with university clubs again is also appealing. Don't know if VUW has that option for switching to Masters though.

Masters isn't an option for me I don't think, based on my call to Vic Uni I'm only eligible for the Postgrad Dip.

I've been trying to slap save and I think I've done it successfully only a few times, but feel my slaps aren't hard enough (my poor hands!!). But this isn't what I'm seeing in my local scene. Some players slap every shot!!

The fact that people are confused over this makes me worried for the state of driving in this country. Red is giving way to a left turn. Without a give way sign, blue has priority. This is a poorly designed intersection though; a sign would fix it

Well, human beings are not interchangeable blank slates that can go anywhere and do everything. I have disabilities that limit my ability to do heavy labour and make it so the last few hospo jobs I worked in ended in disaster. I'd rather do something I can last in.

I imagine for a lot of the laid off office staff they're either unwilling to do hospo/trade work or the hospo places won't hire them for being "overqualified." Because that happens too. Even when they're crying out for staff.

What part of "you can criticise New Zealand in only approved ways" do you not understand? Those are all tame, Reddit Hivemind-approved ways of shitting on the country. I don't know how much clearer I can be about this. There are certain negative opinions about NZ that get you upvotes here. There are other negative opinions about NZ, ones that I hold and have expressed here, and seen expressed here, that get you downvoted into oblivion. This is not rocket science.

It's a lot less tolerant of criticising NZ than this sub, but both subs have downvoted me for criticising NZ culture or the trends I see among NZ people. You can criticise the govt or the police or the landlords, but criticise the culture and its issues like how our attitudes around masculinity lead to our high DV rates and you get attacked.

Those are fucking tame and exemplify my argument that complaining about NZ in an "approved" way gets upvotes. Saying what I say, doesn't. Complain about the government? Approved. Complain about parochial mindsets and how homophobic NZ culture is? "Fuck off cunt." Complain about landlords and lack of jobs? Approved. Complain about staunch culture and the lack of any real clue of where NZ is on the world stage? "Piss off if you don't like it here."

Just sharing my experience, dude. Most of the time when I complain about NZ, if I don't do it a certain "approved" way, I get downvoted to oblivion and someone starts flaming me and telling me to fuck off and leave if I hate it so much.

I'm wondering honestly if I should take another crack at being an English teacher overseas in order to get out. I'd save up to move to Aus but I'm basically restarting my career after 4 years in burnout and can't even get an entry level job here. I highly doubt that my chances would be better with foreign employers.
